CleenU Technology Co., Ltd. ("CleenU," "we," or "us") operates cleenu.com and is responsible for personal information processed through this website. This policy explains what we collect, how we use and keep it, and how you can ask us to access, correct, or delete it.
This policy covers website visits, inquiry forms, live chat, WhatsApp inquiries, and communications directly related to the website. Contracts, samples, technical information, and commercial documents for a specific project are governed by the documents both parties later agree to.
Information we may collect
When you contact us through a form, live chat, WhatsApp, email, phone, or another channel, we receive the name, company, contact details, product requirements, message, and attachments you choose to provide. Running the website also generates processed technical and usage information, such as traffic source, pages viewed, device type, or approximate region.
Please do not send trade secrets or other sensitive materials through a website form or live chat. If a project requires sharing that kind of information, contact us first to agree on a suitable channel.
How we use information
We use inquiry information to reply to you and to discuss cleaning product options, OEM/ODM manufacturing, sample testing, custom packaging, production, or pricing. We do not sell your personal information.
We also use processed website usage information to understand how pages perform, improve content and contact paths, and keep the website running securely.
Website analytics and session replay
The website uses a third-party website analytics service to measure processed traffic sources, pages viewed, time on page and scroll depth, contact-button clicks, knowledge-base searches, device type, and approximate region, so we can improve the website. Links are cleaned before they are sent to analytics so that only common marketing parameters remain, and query parameters that look like contact details are removed.
We record a sample of sessions to find usability problems. In session replay, form inputs are masked, and replays do not capture names, phone numbers, email addresses, company names, messages, chat content, or network request bodies, and we do not build identifiable analytics profiles. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, this analytics is turned off.
Our own visit records
The website stores a randomly generated visitor ID in your browser and records the entry page, referring website, pages viewed, time spent, device type, browser language, and time zone for each visit. We link browsing and contact-button clicks by visitor ID and also save the IP address supplied with the network request as supporting information for source analysis and inquiry follow-up. A shared IP alone does not merge visitors. After you send a WhatsApp message containing a reference code, a sales colleague may manually associate the name, company, and phone number you provide with that visitor. Records from different browsers are linked only after a colleague checks the messages and enters the same customer phone number. These customer details are not sent to our website analytics service. Visit records are not reported when your browser has Do Not Track enabled.
Live chat
Live chat runs on a chat system that CleenU hosts itself. Automated replies in the chat are generated by a third-party AI model service, so the messages you send are passed to that service to produce a reply; a sales colleague then follows up in person.
To answer your inquiry accurately, the traffic source and pages viewed described above are saved with the chat and with any contact details you choose to give in it. New chats and inquiries trigger a notification to our sales team through a business messaging tool, which may include a summary of your inquiry and the contact details you provided.
When you click a WhatsApp button on the website, WhatsApp opens with a short message that includes a reference code. The website saves that code, the page you clicked from, and the visit record described above, so a sales colleague can match your message. The chat itself is carried by WhatsApp under its own terms; the website does not read or store it.
Cookies and browser storage
The website uses your browser's local storage to keep the visitor ID, recent visit history, and identifiers needed for analytics. A cookie named cleenu_lang remembers the language you chose, and the live chat uses cookies to keep your chat session. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear this data at any time in your browser settings; the website will then treat you as a new visitor.
Service providers and international transfers
We use the following categories of service providers to run the website and require them to process information only for the purposes described here: an analytics provider for analytics and session replay, with data stored in the United States; an AI model provider for automated live chat replies; a business messaging tool for inquiry and chat notifications to our sales team; and a cloud provider that hosts the website, content system, and chat system.
CleenU is based in China, so information you send us is processed in China, and processed analytics data is stored by our analytics provider in the United States. You can stop or reset analytics by enabling Do Not Track or clearing your browser storage. Apart from these providers and where the law requires it, we do not share your personal information with third parties.
The website may also link to third-party websites, platforms, or services. Those resources are run by their own operators, and their content, availability, and privacy practices follow their own rules.
How long we keep information and how we protect it
Inquiry form submissions, live chat records, and the visit records saved with them are kept for one month from the date we receive them and then deleted, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. Once both parties sign a contract, the contract and the records needed to fulfill it are kept as the contract and the law require.
We use administrative and technical measures suited to running the website to help prevent unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of internet transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children
This website is intended for business customers and adult consumers and is not directed to children under 14. If you believe we have collected personal information from a child, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
You can contact us to access, correct, or delete personal information you have submitted, get a copy of it, to withdraw consent you gave earlier, or to ask about how we handle information. We will verify your identity and handle your request in line with applicable law. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew it.
Changes to this policy
When website features or our handling of information change, we will update this policy, post the update on this page, and change the date at the top.
