How it works
How wipes remove water spots
Light water spots are a thin carbonate film left as calcium and magnesium dry, and soap scum is lime soap from fatty acids bound to those minerals. Citric acid dissolves carbonate and chelates calcium and magnesium so lime soap loosens, mild surfactants emulsify toothpaste and skin oil, and the thick nonwoven fibers pick up and hold the loosened soil.
