CleenU product solution
Cutting Board Cleaner & Deodorizer
Food-grade formula · Lifts meat juice, fish, and garlic odor · Private label
Fish and garlic smell that survives washing, and bits stuck in the knife marks? After use, spray the surface, scrub with the grain using a stiff brush, rinse with hot water, and stand it up to dry. Food-grade surfactant plus cyclodextrin. Factory-direct private label.
- Knife marks cover a well-used board, and meat juice, fish protein, and garlic juice soak into the cuts and grain. Dish soap rinses surface grease but leaves smells in the crevices. This cleaner pairs food-grade alkyl polyglucoside with a stiff brush to clear residue from knife marks, sodium citrate to lift protein, and cyclodextrin to trap fish and garlic odor, so a hot rinse leaves no smell.
- Don't soak wood or bamboo boards or run them through the dishwasher; they crack and warp. Scrub, rinse, and stand them up to dry with airflow. Separate boards for raw and cooked food are more hygienic, and replace boards with deep cracks or mold spots. This is a cleaner and makes no germ-killing claims.

Before & after
Before and after (illustration)
Before: a year-old bamboo board just used for sea bass and garlic, smelling of fish and garlic with flesh stuck in the knife marks. After: sprayed, scrubbed with the grain, rinsed hot, and dried standing, the residue is out and the fish and garlic smell is clearly lighter.
- Before: fish and garlic smell, residue in cuts
- Sprayed, scrubbed with the grain, rinsed hot
- Residue out, smell lighter

How it works
How fish and garlic odor comes out
Fishy smell comes mainly from trimethylamine, and garlic smell from sulfur compounds formed as allicin breaks down, both clinging to protein residue and wood fiber. Alkyl polyglucoside wets and emulsifies fat and protein so brushing carries it out of the cuts, sodium citrate chelates metal ions and disperses protein, and cyclodextrin's hydrophobic cavity encloses trimethylamine and small sulfur molecules.
- Spray after use
- Scrub with the grain
- Emulsify residue, trap odor
- Rinse hot
- Dry standing up

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Find practical answers about Cutting Board Cleaner & Deodorizer, private label, samples, MOQ, documents, and delivery.
Product, use, and procurement
Why can't wood boards go in the dishwasher?
Heat and long soaking make wood swell, crack, and warp. Hand wash and dry them standing up.
Should raw and cooked foods use separate boards?
Yes. Use one for raw meat and fish and another for cooked food and fruit; it makes cleaning easier too.
How fast can we get samples and a first order?
Free samples ship in 3–5 days. MOQ is 500 bottles, and production is scheduled once packaging and labels are approved.
Product usage questions
How do I use it?
After use, coat the board, scrub with a stiff brush along the grain, rinse with hot water, and stand it up to dry.
When shouldn't I use it?
Don't soak wood or bamboo boards or put them in the dishwasher; replace boards with deep cracks or black mold spots.
Will it whiten a yellowed plastic board?
It lightens surface stains; yellowing from aging plastic won't fully reverse.
Should I oil wood boards?
Yes, about monthly with food-grade mineral oil or board oil to prevent cracking.
What should I keep in mind with baby food boards?
Spray, scrub, rinse well with hot water, and let the board dry before use.
Can I use it on knives?
Yes, on handles and blades; rinse, dry, and don't soak.
Can I keep using a cracked board?
Fine scratches are OK; deep cracks trap grime and the board should be replaced.
Can bamboo boards mold?
If left damp, yes; stand them up to dry with airflow.
How long before I scrub?
Scrub right away, or let it sit 1–2 minutes on heavy residue.
Can I use it on trays and pastry boards?
Yes. Spray, scrub, and rinse.
How do I deodorize a wooden cutting board?
Clean the odor out rather than covering it: coat the board, scrub along the grain with a stiff brush, rinse with hot water, and stand it up to dry. Smells come from food residue in knife marks and from wood that stays damp. Oil the board about monthly to limit cracking, and replace boards with deep cracks or black mold spots.
Can I use it to disinfect a cutting board?
No—it's a cleaner and deodorizer, not a disinfectant. Its job is to lift food residue and odor so the board rinses clean. Scrub, rinse with hot water, and dry it standing up after every use.
