Tune formula, foam, and scent to the stain and fabric
Carpet Spot & Stain Cleaning Solution
The biggest risk with a carpet stain remover isn't a stain that won't lift; it's the ring it leaves behind. Too much cleaner soaks into the backing, and as it dries it wicks dirt from below up to the surface, leaving a ring bigger than the original spot. So spot cleaning carpet means spraying lightly, blotting from the outside in, and never scrubbing back and forth. CleenU matches two ready-to-use cleaners to the stain and fabric: a carpet spot spray for drinks, grease, and muddy footprints, and a low-foam fabric cleaner for carpets, mats, and cloth car seats. We also make private-label and OEM/ODM carpet cleaners for brands, distributors, and online sellers.

No Rings: Use a Little and Blot
For coffee, juice, sauce, and muddy footprints on carpets and rugs, blot up excess liquid with a white cloth, spray a mildly alkaline carpet cleaner, wait 3–5 minutes, blot from the outside in with a white cloth, and vacuum once dry. For dust and body-oil marks on car mats, cloth seats, and floor mats, vacuum first, mist a low-foam fabric cleaner, wait 2–3 minutes, scrub gently with a soft brush, blot, and air-dry. Use both sparingly so they don't soak the backing and leave a ring, and spot-test pure wool, silk, and handmade rugs first.
- Stain Type: Drinks, grease, and muddy footprints take the spot spray; dust and body oil take the low-foam fabric cleaner.
- Why No Ring: Spray lightly, let it loosen the stain, and blot from the outside in so cleaner never soaks the backing.
- How to Use: Ready to use. Carpet sits 3–5 minutes, then blot; fabric sits 2–3 minutes, then brush softly and blot.
- Fabrics: Fine on synthetic carpets and fabrics; spot-test wool, silk, and handmade rugs, and skip S/X fabrics.
- The Finish: Blot once more with a damp white cloth, then vacuum when dry to raise the pile.

Where to Use It
Living-Room Carpets
Coffee, juice, and sauce spots: blot, spray the Carpet Cleaner, wait 3–5 minutes, and blot from the outside in with a white cloth.
Small Rugs & Mats
Muddy footprints and traffic marks on entry mats and rugs: once dry, scrape off the mud, spray, blot, and vacuum when dry.
Car Floor Mats
Dust and oil marks on fabric mats: vacuum, mist the Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner, scrub with a soft brush, blot, and air-dry.
Pet-Area Carpets
Muddy paw prints and food spills: spray the carpet cleaner lightly and blot; treat urine first with a pet odor product.
Spot-test natural stone, coated, and wood surfaces in a hidden area first.
When Not to Use It
- Carpet extractors and steam cleaners: these are spot-cleaning sprays, not extractor solutions, so use a low-foam extractor formula in machines.
- Pure wool, silk, and handmade rugs: spot-test in a hidden area first to make sure there's no bleeding or distortion, and send valuable rugs to a professional.
- Fabrics with an S or X cleaning code, and leather, suede, and Alcantara: follow the fabric label, and use a leather cleaner on leather.
- Whole-carpet deep cleaning: spot cleaning can't replace a full clean, so use an extractor or professional service for widespread soil.

Compare the Options
Three common carpet and fabric spot jobs, compared by product, pH, foam, and method. Carpet spots take a mildly alkaline spot spray and blotting; dusty mats and cloth seats take a low-foam cleaner and a soft brush. Either way, a little product, blotting, and working from the outside in keep rings away.
| Cleaning Job | Where | Strength | Foam | Method |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Carpets & Rugs | Spot stains on carpets and rugs | Mildly alkaline, pH 7.5–9.5 | Low | Wait 3–5 minutes, blot from the outside in |

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about how to use it, which surfaces are safe, and private-label orders.
Use & Cleaning
How do you get coffee out of carpet?
Blot up as much coffee as you can with a white cloth, spray the carpet cleaner, wait 3–5 minutes, and blot from the outside in with a clean white cloth until it stops picking up color. Blot once more with a damp white cloth to lift the residue, and vacuum once dry. Skip hot water, and don't rub.
Why does carpet leave a ring after cleaning?
A ring usually means too much cleaner soaked into the backing and wicked dirt up to the surface as it dried. Lightly mist the ring and the area around it with plain water, blot from the outside in with a dry white cloth, and dry it under a stack of paper towels. Next time, spray less and blot more.
Can carpet cleaner be used on wool rugs?
Spot-test in a hidden area first to make sure there's no bleeding or distortion. Pure wool, silk, and handmade rugs are more sensitive to pH and friction, and valuable rugs are best sent to a professional.
Surfaces & Safety
How do you clean car floor mats?
Shake out and vacuum the mats, mist the carpet and upholstery cleaner, wait 2–3 minutes, scrub with a soft brush, blot with a white cloth, and air-dry. Rubber mats aren't fabric and can simply be rinsed with water.
Can I put carpet cleaner in an extractor?
No. These are spot-cleaning sprays, and their foam and dose don't suit extractors; use a low-foam extractor solution in machines.
How do I deal with pet urine on carpet?
Blot it dry with paper towels, then spray an enzyme pet odor eliminator through to the backing to break down the odor source. If a mark remains, blot it with the carpet cleaner from the outside in.
Private Label & Sourcing
What should I prepare before asking about a private-label carpet cleaner?
Settle four things: carpet spot cleaning only or carpet and car fabric; trigger and brush kits; scent and bottle size; and your target market and label language. Then we'll arrange free samples, usually ready in 3–5 days.
What documents come with an OEM carpet cleaner?
We provide SDS/MSDS, TDS, and batch COA, and prepare label copy for your target market. These documents aren't posted for download; we send them on request after you inquire.
What are the MOQ and lead time for carpet cleaners?
Standard projects start at 500 bottles. Free samples are usually ready in 3–5 days, and production is scheduled after packaging and labels are approved.
