Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner
Low-foam · Brush and blot · Private label
Darkened headrests on cloth car seats or an oily ring on the sofa arm? Vacuum, spray, wait 2–3 minutes, scrub in circles with a soft brush, and blot the dirty water with a white cloth. Low-foam, fast-drying, no rings; private label from 500 bottles.
- Headrests, armrests, and seat fronts darken as skin oil and sweat work into the fabric and dust from clothing sticks to the oil. A vacuum takes surface dust but leaves the oily part in the fibers. This cleaner emulsifies the oil, a soft brush loosens soil between the fibers, and blotting with a white cloth pulls the dirty liquid and oil out together.
- Too much water is the enemy in fabric cleaning: seat foam can stay damp for days, grow mildew, and smell, and drying edges leave yellow rings. This low-foam cleaner works with a light mist; brushing and blotting remove most of the moisture, and with windows or doors open it dries in a few hours without rings.

Before & after
Before and after (use illustration)
Before: the headrest and seat front of a fabric car seat are noticeably dark with an oily sheen at the edges. After: vacuumed, sprayed, brushed, blotted, and dried, the dark area matches the rest, the fabric is soft, and there’s no ring.
- Before: headrest and seat edge darkened with an oily sheen
- After: the dark areas match the surrounding fabric
- Soft hand and no water ring once dry

How it works
How Oily Soil Comes Out of Fabric
Fabric soil is skin oil, sweat salts, and dust stuck in that oil, lodged between fibers. Surfactants carry the cleaner into the weave; mild alkaline builders emulsify the oil and release the dust from it; circular brushing opens the fibers so soil moves into the solution; and a white microfiber cloth wicks the dirty liquid away. Low foam means blotting removes most of the liquid, cutting residue and wick-back.
- Wet
- Emulsify skin oil
- Brush soil loose
- Blot out
- Air-dry

How to use
How do I clean darkened fabric car seats?
Vacuum thoroughly, spray, wait 2 to 3 minutes, brush in small circles, blot the dirty liquid with a white cloth, and air-dry with the doors open. Repeat on the darkest areas.
Can I use it on my sofa, and how do I know?
Check the cleaning code on the label: “W” or “W/S” is fine; “S” means solvent only and “X” means vacuum only, so skip those. If unsure, test a hidden spot on the back.
How long does it take to dry?
A few hours with good airflow if you spray lightly and blot well. Soaked foam can stay damp for a day or two, so use several light passes instead of one heavy one.
How does upholstery cleaner work?
It breaks up the skin oil that glues dust into the fibers, so brushing and blotting can lift both. That's why headrests, armrests, and seat fronts darken: body oil soaks in and holds dust. Mist lightly, wait 2 to 3 minutes, brush in small circles, and blot the dirty liquid out with a white cloth. The low-foam formula means less to blot out and no repeated rinsing.
Surfaces and common questions
Will it leave a water ring?
Not if you blot well; the low-foam formula leaves little residue. Mist evenly out to the seam of the cushion or panel so there’s no wet-dry line.
Can I use it with an extractor or wet vac?
Yes. Spray and brush, then extract the dirty liquid with a wet vac for better, faster results. Low foam won’t overflow the machine.
How do I clean mud and grease from floor mats?
Take the mats out, shake and vacuum out the grit, spray and brush, rinse with water, and hang to dry.
Why does the fabric feel stiff after cleaning?
Usually cleaner and dirty water weren’t blotted out and dried in the fibers. Blot again with a white cloth barely dampened with water, let it dry, and brush the nap up. Next time, spray less and blot more.
Can I use it on fabric headboards and office chairs?
Yes, if the fabric code is W or W/S. Same steps: spray lightly, scrub in circles, blot, and air-dry—don’t soak the foam.
Can I use it on a child car-seat cover?
Machine-wash removable covers per the manual. For fixed fabric, spot-clean with this, blot, then blot again with a cloth barely dampened with water, and let it dry fully before use.
Can I use upholstery cleaner on leather or suede?
No. Skip genuine leather, suede, and Alcantara; they need a product made for those materials. This cleaner is for fabric car seats, cloth sofas, carpets, and floor mats. Test velvet and silk on a hidden spot before cleaning.
Buying and private label
What should we decide first for a private-label carpet & upholstery cleaner?
Three things: car interiors or home sofas, retail spray or bulk for detailers, and whether to add foam. Car and home are different channels with very different scent and packaging styles.
What are the sample, MOQ, and lead-time terms?
Free samples are usually ready in 3–5 days. Standard MOQ is 500 bottles, and bulk orders are scheduled after packaging and labels are approved.
What can be customized?
All of it: formula direction, scent, fill size (500 mL spray, 1 L and 5 L refills, and more), mist or foam trigger, label design and language, and ecommerce bundles with a soft brush and white microfiber cloths.
Can we test samples first?
Yes, we ship samples first. Test them on seat and sofa fabric swatches with oil and dust soil like the ones your customers handle, and record removal of darkened areas, foam level, drying time, and water rings. That tells you more than a before-and-after photo.
Which documents can you provide?
We provide SDS/MSDS, a TDS, and batch COAs, plus bilingual label content for your target market. They aren’t posted publicly; we send them per project on inquiry.
How is private-label pricing quoted?
Pricing is tiered by packaging, trigger or cap, label, and order quantity, starting at the 500-bottle MOQ. Send your target quantity, fill size, and packaging needs, and we’ll quote unit prices by volume tier with sample and lead-time details.
Does upholstery cleaner expire?
Yes. The shelf life is 24 months unopened. Store it sealed in a cool, dry, ventilated spot, away from heat, direct sun, and freezing, and check the label on your bottle.
