CleenU product solution
Fabric & Leather Stain Protector
Invisible barrier · Spills bead up · Private label
Light fabric sofas, white sneakers, and canvas bags that mark the moment coffee or rain hits? Spray two even coats from 15–20 cm on a clean, dry surface; after 12 hours, spills bead up and blot away. No change in color or feel; private label from 500 bottles.
- Fabric and leather are full of tiny pores and gaps between fibers. Coffee, sauce, or rain wicks in instantly by capillary action and dries into a mark. The protector coats each fiber with an ultra-thin, low-surface-energy layer, raising the contact angle so liquid rolls into beads instead of soaking in. That gives you time to blot it up.
- The layer is nanometers thick and wraps each fiber rather than plugging the gaps between them, so feel, color, and breathability barely change: sofas don’t feel stuffy and shoes don’t trap heat. Washing and wear slowly reduce it, so reapply every 2 to 3 months or after cleaning.

Before & after
Before and after (use illustration)
Before: water dropped on light sofa fabric soaks in instantly, leaving a dark circle. After: two coats and 12 hours of drying, the same water and coffee drops sit as round beads, and a paper towel blots them off with no mark.
- Before: a drop soaks straight into light upholstery and leaves a dark spot
- After: water and coffee sit on the fabric as round beads
- One blot with a tissue and the fabric is clean

How it works
How the Barrier Makes Liquid Bead
Whether a liquid soaks into fabric depends on its affinity for the fiber surface. As the carrier evaporates, nano-scale silicone or hydrocarbon repellents settle on the fibers as a low-surface-energy layer. Water and most oily liquids can’t spread on it, their contact angle rises, they stay spherical, and capillary wicking is blocked. The gaps between fibers stay open, so air and vapor still pass through.
- Nano agents coat fibers
- Lower surface energy
- Higher contact angle
- Liquid beads
- Blot away

Usage guidance
Use guidance
- Clean the surface and let it dry fully; new sofas and shoes can be sprayed right away.
- Shake, then spray evenly from 15 to 20 cm until damp, not dripping; apply a second coat once the first is half dry.
- Let it air-dry 12 hours before use; flick a few drops of water to confirm they bead.

Where Fabric & Leather Stain Protector stands out
Stains Set Because Liquid Gets Into the Fibers
Fabric and leather are full of tiny pores and gaps between fibers. Coffee, sauce, or rain wicks in instantly by capillary action and dries into a mark. The protector coats each fiber with an ultra-thin, low-surface-energy layer, raising the contact angle so liquid rolls into beads instead of soaking in. That gives you time to blot it up.
Invisible, Unfelt, Still Breathable
The layer is nanometers thick and wraps each fiber rather than plugging the gaps between them, so feel, color, and breathability barely change: sofas don’t feel stuffy and shoes don’t trap heat. Washing and wear slowly reduce it, so reapply every 2 to 3 months or after cleaning.

Why choose CleenU for Fabric & Leather Stain Protector?
From product positioning and samples to packaging and repeat supply, CleenU supports OEM/ODM projects built around Fabric & Leather Stain Protector.
Protection balanced with regulation
Fluorinated systems repel oil better, but more markets restrict PFAS; fluorine-free systems repel water well and are easier to sell. We set direction by market.
Trigger or aerosol
A 500 mL trigger for large sofas; 200–300 mL sprays or aerosols for footwear and bags.
Sample reviews with clear criteria
Review samples on your sofa fabric, canvas, and smooth leather swatches against clear points: water contact angle, durability after washing or abrasion, and change in color and feel.
Mostly unscented
It stays on the fabric long-term, so unscented avoids clashing with home fragrance.
Labels and documents
We supply bilingual labels, SDS/MSDS, TDS, and batch COAs, with ventilate, avoid-floors, and test-pile-fabrics instructions on the label, and can arrange third-party testing for your market.
Consistent supply and reorders
Each batch is retained and ships with a COA, so reorders match in color, scent, and feel.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Find practical answers about Fabric & Leather Stain Protector, private label, samples, MOQ, documents, and delivery.
How to use
Once sprayed, will it never get dirty?
No. It makes liquids bead instead of soaking in, giving you time to blot. Left for a long time or rubbed in, they can still penetrate, and dust and wear still need regular cleaning.
How often should I reapply?
Every 2 to 3 months or after washing. Flick a few drops of water: if they stop beading and start soaking in, it’s time.
Will it change my sofa’s color or feel?
On most fabrics, no. Suede and velvet-type piles may darken slightly, so test a hidden spot first.
How do I apply fabric protector spray so it actually works?
Start with a clean, fully dry surface, then apply two light, even coats and let it dry 12 hours before use. The repellent needs to bond to clean fibers; dirt or dampness leaves patchy coverage. Hold the bottle 6 to 8 inches (15–20 cm) away, work outdoors or in a well-ventilated room, and lay paper down so overspray doesn't make the floor slick.
Surfaces and common questions
Does it work on white sneakers?
Yes. Clean and dry them first, apply two coats, and wait 12 hours before wearing. Rain and splashes wipe off much more easily.
Does it contain fluorochemicals?
No. It’s a water-based, PFAS-free formula using silicone and hydrocarbon repellents. It works best against water-based stains; oil repellency is lower than fluorinated products.
What should I watch out for when spraying?
Spray outdoors or with good ventilation and don’t breathe the mist. Put paper under the sofa so overspray doesn’t make the floor slippery.
Does it still work after washing?
Washing and heavy rubbing wear the barrier down. After washing and drying a removable cover, shoes, or a bag, spray two new coats and let it dry 12 hours.
Can I spray it over existing stains?
No. The barrier would lock the stain underneath and make it harder to remove later. Clean the stain with an upholstery cleaner, let it dry fully, then apply protection.
Does it protect against oil too?
It holds off most oil drops so they sit on the surface—blot them up promptly. Oil left for a long time or pressed in can still soak through, so don’t let it sit.
Does fabric protector spray really work?
Yes, for what it's designed to do: it makes spills bead up on the surface instead of soaking in, which buys you time to blot them away. It doesn't make fabric stain-proof. Liquids left sitting or rubbed in can still penetrate, and the barrier wears down with washing and friction, so reapply when water stops beading. CleenU's formula is PFAS-free, so it works best against water-based spills.
Buying and private label
What should we decide first for a private-label fabric & leather stain protector?
Three things: home textiles or footwear and bag care, whether to lead with PFAS-free, and trigger spray or aerosol. Footwear and home channels differ a lot in packaging style and size.
What are the sample, MOQ, and lead-time terms?
Free samples are usually ready in 3–5 days. Standard MOQ is 500 bottles, and bulk orders are scheduled after packaging and labels are approved.
What can be customized?
All of it: formula direction, scent, fill size (500 mL spray, 250 mL spray, 1 L refill, and more), mist trigger, fine-mist pump, or aerosol, label design and language, and ecommerce bundles with a fabric cleaner or shoe brush.
Can we test samples first?
Yes, we ship samples first. Test them on sofa fabric, canvas, and smooth leather swatches like the ones your customers handle, and record water contact angle, durability after washing or abrasion, and change in color and feel. That tells you more than a before-and-after photo.
Which documents can you provide?
We provide SDS/MSDS, a TDS, and batch COAs, plus bilingual label content for your target market. They aren’t posted publicly; we send them per project on inquiry.
How is private-label pricing quoted?
Pricing is tiered by packaging, trigger or cap, label, and order quantity, starting at the 500-bottle MOQ. Send your target quantity, fill size, and packaging needs, and we’ll quote unit prices by volume tier with sample and lead-time details.
Launching your own Fabric & Leather Stain Protector?
