How it works
How a tablet becomes cleaner
Baking soda and citric acid react in water and release carbon dioxide, breaking the tablet apart quickly and dispersing the nonionic surfactants and chelators evenly; the resulting solution is mildly alkaline, the surfactants emulsify grease and wet dust, and chelators bind calcium and magnesium to reduce spots after wiping.
