CleenU product solution
Billiard Cloth Cleaner
pH-neutral · No fading or pilling · Private label
Blue chalk marks, sweaty handprints, and drink spots on the cloth? Brush off loose chalk, spray a cloth and wipe with the nap, blot spots after a minute, and play once it’s dry. pH-neutral, won’t fade or stiffen wool; private label from 500 bottles.
- Cue chalk is fine abrasive particles with blue or green pigment. It scatters onto the cloth with every shot, and some lodges between the wool fibers. Wiping straight away with a wet cloth pushes the pigment deeper. Brush the loose chalk off with the nap first, then wipe lightly with a cloth dampened with cleaner so surfactants lift the remaining pigment and sweat from the fibers.
- The cloth sits over slate; once soaked, it dries slowly, can wrinkle, and wool fibers shrink and stiffen, changing ball speed and roll. Applied by cloth, this cleaner only dampens the surface fibers, and its neutral pH is kind to dyes. It dries in 10 to 15 minutes with the cloth flat and playing the same.

Before & after
Before and after (use illustration)
Before: patches of blue chalk around the break area and side pockets, with dark sweat prints along the rails. After: brushed, wiped, and blotted, the chalk and prints are much lighter, the cloth color is even, and the nap lies flat.
- Before: blue chalk patches at the break area, dark handprints on the rails
- After: marks clearly faded, even cloth color
- Nap stays flat, ready to play once dry

How it works
How the Cloth Gets Clean
Table cloth is usually wool or a wool blend, and the scales on the fibers catch chalk particles and skin oil from sweat. Brushing first removes loose dust so less pigment is pushed in. Gentle surfactants wet the surface fibers and disperse clinging pigment and oil onto your cloth, and blotting pulls away what has lifted. The neutral pH leaves the wool scales and dyes intact, so the fibers keep their spring once dry.
- Brush off dust
- Surfactants wet fibers
- Lift pigment and sweat
- Blot
- Air-dry

Usage guidance
Use guidance
- Brush the cloth with the nap, from the break end toward the foot spot, to remove loose chalk.
- Spray a clean white towel and wipe chalk marks and prints lightly with the nap; for spots, apply a little and leave 1 minute.
- Blot with a dry cloth rather than rubbing; let it dry 10 to 15 minutes before playing.

No Soaking, No Fading, Same Ball Speed

Why choose CleenU for Billiard Cloth Cleaner?
From product positioning and samples to packaging and repeat supply, CleenU supports OEM/ODM projects built around Billiard Cloth Cleaner.
Formula matched to cloth type
Pure wool, wool blends, and nylon cloths tolerate moisture and pH differently. We tune surfactants and moisture for your target cloth.
Fine mist works best
A fine-mist trigger gives controlled use on the cloth; a foam version stays put on spots.
Sample reviews with clear criteria
Review samples on your billiard cloth swatches with chalk and sweat marks against clear points: chalk mark fading, drying time, cloth feel, and color change.
Citrus fresh or unscented
Pool halls like a fresh scent to cut stale smells; home users may prefer unscented.
Labels and documents
We supply bilingual labels, SDS/MSDS, TDS, and batch COAs, with a spray-on-cloth, do-not-soak note on the label, and can arrange third-party testing for your market.
Consistent supply and reorders
Each batch is retained and ships with a COA, so reorders match in color, scent, and feel.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Find practical answers about Billiard Cloth Cleaner, private label, samples, MOQ, documents, and delivery.
How to use
How do I get chalk marks off pool table cloth?
Brush loose chalk off with the nap first, then spray a clean towel and wipe lightly with the nap. Don’t start with a wet cloth; it pushes the pigment into the fibers.
Can I spray it straight on the table?
A little on a small spot is fine; for larger areas, spray the cloth instead. A soaked cloth dampens the slate, dries slowly, and can wrinkle.
Will it fade the cloth or slow the balls?
Used lightly as directed, the effect is minimal. The neutral formula has no bleach, only dampens the surface, and dries quickly. Dyes and fibers vary between cloths, so test a small spot near the rail first before doing the whole table.
Surfaces and common questions
What do I do about spilled beer or soda?
Blot with a dry towel right away to soak up as much as you can; don’t spread it. Then apply a little cleaner, wait a minute, and blot again, once or twice.
How often should I clean?
Pool halls: brush daily and use the cleaner weekly. Home tables: brush weekly and clean monthly.
How soon can we play?
Usually 10 to 15 minutes, once the cloth feels dry rather than cool.
The chalk mark is still there after brushing. Should I scrub harder?
Don’t scrub. Chalk pigment sits between the fibers: brush thoroughly with the nap, then press and sweep lightly with a dampened cloth. If it hasn’t faded, let it dry and do another round.
Can it handle blood or chewing gum on the cloth?
For fresh blood, blot with a cloth dampened in cold water, then use this. Freeze gum with an ice cube, peel it off gently, and wipe the rest with this. Old, set-in stains may only fade.
Should a pool hall clean every day?
For a commercial hall, brush the cloth after closing each day and wipe the break area and rails with this weekly. A home table needs it about once a month.
How do I remove stains from pool table cloth?
Blot, don't scrub. Brush loose chalk and dust off with the nap, spray a little cleaner onto a clean towel, and press it onto the stain; for a small spot, mist lightly, wait about a minute, then blot with a dry towel. If it's still there, let it dry and repeat rather than rubbing harder, which pushes pigment deeper into the wool.
Can I use it on the rails and pockets?
Keep it on the cloth. It's made for wool and wool-blend table cloth; don't let it sit on wood rail frames or leather pockets, and wipe off any overspray right away.
Buying and private label
What should we decide first for a private-label billiard cloth cleaner?
Three things: commercial care for pool halls and clubs or home retail; whether to bundle with a table brush and cue cleaner; citrus or unscented. Billiard channels respond best to kits.
What are the sample, MOQ, and lead-time terms?
Free samples are usually ready in 3–5 days. Standard MOQ is 500 bottles, and bulk orders are scheduled after packaging and labels are approved.
What can be customized?
All of it: formula direction, scent, fill size (500 mL spray, 1 L refill, and more), mist or foam trigger, label design and language, and ecommerce bundles with a table brush and cue cleaner.
Can we test samples first?
Yes, we ship samples first. Test them on billiard cloth swatches with chalk and sweat marks like the ones your customers handle, and record chalk mark fading, drying time, cloth feel, and color change. That tells you more than a before-and-after photo.
Which documents can you provide?
We provide SDS/MSDS, a TDS, and batch COAs, plus bilingual label content for your target market. They aren’t posted publicly; we send them per project on inquiry.
How is private-label pricing quoted?
Pricing is tiered by packaging, trigger or cap, label, and order quantity, starting at the 500-bottle MOQ. Send your target quantity, fill size, and packaging needs, and we’ll quote unit prices by volume tier with sample and lead-time details.
