Foaming Tub & Tile Cleaner
Clinging foam · Lifts tub rings · Private label
A grey soap-scum ring at the tub’s waterline and water marks on the shower wall and glass? Thick foam clings to the walls without running; leave it 3–5 minutes, sponge, and rinse for a white, smooth tub. Private label from 500 bottles.
- Soap and body wash react with calcium and magnesium in hard water to form insoluble calcium soaps, which is soap scum. It builds up at the waterline, traps skin cells and body oil, and hardens into a grey ring. The white spots on shower walls are scale. This cleaner’s mild acid pulls the calcium out of both, and surfactants disperse the oil and skin debris so a rinse carries it off.
- Soap scum doesn’t melt on contact; the acid and surfactants need minutes to penetrate. The foam trigger turns the liquid into fine, dense foam that clings to slopes and vertical walls for over 5 minutes, far longer than a liquid spray, with less product. It’s white, so you can see exactly where you’ve covered and don’t miss corners.

Before & after
Before and after (use illustration)
Before: the white acrylic tub has a clear grey soap-scum line and yellow-white scale near the faucet. After: 5 minutes of foam, a sponge wipe, and a rinse leave the ring gone and the tub white and smooth again.
- Before: a grey scum line around an acrylic tub and yellow-white scale by the drain
- After: the ring is gone and the tub is white and smooth
- Foam clings, even on vertical walls

How it works
How Soap Scum Softens and Rinses Away
Soap scum is calcium fatty-acid salt and scale is calcium carbonate; calcium locks both to the surface. Hydrogen ions in the mild acid release the calcium as a soluble salt, turning scum back into fatty acids that surfactants can emulsify along with body oil and skin debris. The foam gives long, wet contact, and a rinse carries everything away.
- Foam clings
- Mild acid releases calcium
- Scum turns back to dispersible fatty acids
- Surfactants emulsify
- Water carries it off

Where Foaming Tub & Tile Cleaner stands out
The Grey Ring Is Soap Scum Plus Scale
Soap and body wash react with calcium and magnesium in hard water to form insoluble calcium soaps, which is soap scum. It builds up at the waterline, traps skin cells and body oil, and hardens into a grey ring. The white spots on shower walls are scale. This cleaner’s mild acid pulls the calcium out of both, and surfactants disperse the oil and skin debris so a rinse carries it off.
Foam That Stays Put Has Time to Work
Soap scum doesn’t melt on contact; the acid and surfactants need minutes to penetrate. The foam trigger turns the liquid into fine, dense foam that clings to slopes and vertical walls for over 5 minutes, far longer than a liquid spray, with less product. It’s white, so you can see exactly where you’ve covered and don’t miss corners.

Why choose CleenU for Foaming Tub & Tile Cleaner?
From product positioning and samples to packaging and repeat supply, CleenU supports OEM/ODM projects built around Foaming Tub & Tile Cleaner.
Scum removal balanced with compatibility
More acid removes scum faster but is harder on coated fixtures and glazes. We tune it to your market’s water.
The foam trigger is key
The foam trigger sets texture and output; an inverted-spray option makes tub bottoms easier.
Sample reviews with clear criteria
Review samples on your tile, acrylic, and glass panels with soap scum and scale against clear points: foam cling time, soap-scum removal, and effect on acrylic and coated fixtures.
Soap or floral
Bathroom lines use fresh soap or floral; hotels may want light or no scent.
Labels and documents
We supply bilingual labels, SDS/MSDS, TDS, and batch COAs, with no-natural-stone and no-bleach warnings on the label, and can arrange third-party testing for your market.
Consistent supply and reorders
Each batch is retained and ships with a COA, so reorders match in color, scent, and feel.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Find practical answers about Foaming Tub & Tile Cleaner, private label, samples, MOQ, documents, and delivery.
How to use
How do I get rid of the grey ring in my tub?
It’s soap scum mixed with body oil and scale. Foam it, wait 10 minutes, wipe along the waterline with a sponge, and rinse.
Can I use it on acrylic tubs?
Yes. There are no abrasives, so a soft cloth or sponge won’t scratch acrylic. Avoid steel wool and scouring pads.
Will it clean water spots on glass shower doors?
Yes. Let the foam sit 3 to 5 minutes, wipe, rinse, and squeegee dry for clear glass.
What's the easiest way to clean a bathtub?
Wet the whole tub with the shower head, coat it with foam from the top down, and let it cling 3–5 minutes (10 for thick scum). Wipe along the waterline with a soft sponge, then rinse every bit of foam away. Rinsing and wiping the waterline after each bath keeps scum from building up, so a weekly spray is enough.
Surfaces and common questions
Can I use it in a marble bathroom?
No. Marble and limestone etch with acid; use a neutral stone cleaner on natural stone walls and decks.
Why is foam better than liquid?
Foam stays on slopes and walls for over 5 minutes, giving soap scum time to soften; liquid runs off in seconds.
How do I keep the tub cleaner longer?
Rinse and wipe the tub after each bath so scum doesn’t build up. Foaming it once a week is enough.
The foam leaves white marks on the wall after rinsing.
Foam and loosened scum dried before they were fully rinsed. Rinse longer from the top down, then squeegee or towel dry. Next time, rinse before the foam dries on the wall.
Can I use it on a jetted or whirlpool tub?
Yes on the tub surface—rinse the metal jet trim promptly. Clean the internal plumbing with a jet-system product per the tub’s manual; this isn’t for circulating through the lines.
My tub has fine scratches. Will cleaning make it look worse?
No. It dissolves scum with foam and has no abrasives—just use a soft sponge, not a scouring pad or steel wool. With the grime out of the scratches, the tub usually looks whiter.
Can I use it on porcelain or cast-iron tubs?
Yes on tubs with intact porcelain enamel, including enameled cast iron; use a soft sponge, never steel wool. Avoid spots where the enamel is chipped down to the base, since acidic cleaners can speed up rust and flaking there.
Can it clean inside jetted tub plumbing?
It's made for the tub surface and the outside of the jets, not for running through the plumbing; a foaming cleaner would foam heavily when circulated. Clean the internal lines the way your tub's manual describes, and for the jet rims, foam, wait, scrub with a soft brush, and rinse.
Buying and private label
What should we decide first for a private-label foaming tub & tile cleaner?
Three things: foam density and cling time (they define the experience), household or hotel use, and soap or floral scent. The foam trigger drives reviews, so evaluate samples with the actual trigger.
What are the sample, MOQ, and lead-time terms?
Free samples are usually ready in 3–5 days. Standard MOQ is 500 bottles, and bulk orders are scheduled after packaging and labels are approved.
What can be customized?
All of it: formula direction, scent, fill size (500 mL spray, 1 L refill, and more), mist or foam trigger, label design and language, and ecommerce bundles with a sponge and squeegee.
Can we test samples first?
Yes, we ship samples first. Test them on tile, acrylic, and glass panels with soap scum and scale like the ones your customers handle, and record foam cling time, soap-scum removal, and effect on acrylic and coated fixtures. That tells you more than a before-and-after photo.
Which documents can you provide?
We provide SDS/MSDS, a TDS, and batch COAs, plus bilingual label content for your target market. They aren’t posted publicly; we send them per project on inquiry.
How is private-label pricing quoted?
Pricing is tiered by packaging, trigger or cap, label, and order quantity, starting at the 500-bottle MOQ. Send your target quantity, fill size, and packaging needs, and we’ll quote unit prices by volume tier with sample and lead-time details.
