Garden Furniture & Plastic Cleaner
Mildly alkaline · Rinses back to color · Private label
White plastic chairs gone grey after a season outside, grime in the texture, bird droppings on the back? Spray, wait 3–5 minutes, brush the texture, and hose off to bring the color back. Dilute 1:5 for big pieces; private label from 500 bottles.
- Outdoor plastic isn’t smooth. Sun slowly roughens the surface into micro-texture you can’t see. Traffic film, soot, pollen, and dust settle in, get wetted by rain and dew and baked dry again, and lock into that texture until the whole chair looks grey. A mild alkaline cleaner works into the texture and saponifies and emulsifies the oily binder so particles release, and a soft brush and rinse bring them out.
- Bird droppings contain uric acid and organic matter that dry into hard spots, pollen carries yellow pigment, and shaded seats often grow a thin green film. The mild alkaline formula softens droppings, disperses pollen, and lets you brush light green growth away. Rinse thoroughly so nothing is left and the next rain carries dust off more easily. Plastic that has yellowed or gone chalky from age has changed color itself; cleaning only removes surface dirt.

Before & after
Before and after (use illustration)
Before: a white chair left on the patio all season is grey overall with dark grime in the armrest and seat texture and a bird-dropping mark on the back. After: sprayed, left 5 minutes, brushed, and hosed off, the chair is white again with clean texture.
- Before: a white plastic chair gone grey, black grime in the texture
- After: white again with clean texture
- Bird droppings and pollen scrub and rinse away

How it works
How Dirt Leaves Plastic Texture
Grey grime on outdoor plastic is particles held in the texture by oily binders from exhaust, cooking fumes, and pollen. Mild alkaline builders saponify fatty acids into water-soluble soap, and surfactants lower surface tension so the solution reaches into the texture and disperses particles. A soft brush sweeps the loosened dirt out, and plenty of water carries it off.
- Penetrate texture
- Alkali saponifies oily binder
- Surfactants disperse particles
- Brush loosens
- Water flushes out

Where Garden Furniture & Plastic Cleaner stands out
Grey Plastic Chairs: The Dirt Is in the Texture
Outdoor plastic isn’t smooth.
Bird Droppings, Pollen, and Light Green Film Together
Bird droppings contain uric acid and organic matter that dry into hard spots, pollen carries yellow pigment, and shaded seats often grow a thin green film.

How to use
How do I get grey plastic chairs white again?
The grey is mostly dirt in the texture. Spray, wait 5 minutes, brush along the grain, and hose off. If it’s still yellow or chalky after rinsing, the plastic has aged and needs a restorer.
Can I use a pressure washer?
For rinsing, yes, but spraying and brushing first works better. Keep the nozzle 30 cm or more from the plastic to avoid damaging aged surfaces.
Will it harm my lawn or plants?
Diluted with plenty of rinse water, the impact is minimal. Clean on a hard surface where possible and keep neat product off plant roots.
How do I clean black plastic garden furniture?
The same way as white: spray, wait 3–5 minutes, brush with the grain, and hose off. On dark plastic the problem is usually pollen, droppings, and grey film that show up as dull streaks, so rinse thoroughly and wipe dry to avoid water marks. Work in shade, not on sun-hot plastic.
What cleans plastic outdoor furniture without damaging it?
A mildly alkaline cleaner with a soft brush, no abrasives. This one has no chlorine or grit, and it loosens dirt in the plastic's texture so you don't have to scour. Go gently on aged, chalky plastic, keep it off hot surfaces, and rinse it all off. For big sets, mix 1:5 with water.
Surfaces and common questions
Will it remove green growth on seats?
A thin green film, yes: spray, wait 5 minutes, and brush. For thick moss in long-shaded spots, a moss remover works better.
Can I clean the fabric cushions with it?
Not recommended. Cushion fabric and foam need a fabric cleaner; this is for plastic and resin hard surfaces.
How often should I clean?
A thorough clean at the start and end of the season, a monthly scrub in between, and droppings as soon as you see them.
The chair is still a bit yellow after scrubbing. Is it still dirty?
Probably not—long sun exposure yellows the plastic itself. A cleaner removes surface dirt but can’t reverse aging. Storing clean furniture out of direct sun slows further yellowing.
Can I clean umbrella bases and plastic planters too?
Yes. Spray, scrub, and rinse planter exteriors—keep the product off the soil and plants. Rinse and dry metal umbrella parts to avoid water spots.
How soon can we sit on it?
Wipe it down with a dry cloth after rinsing and it dries in about half an hour in the open air, faster in sun. Wait until it’s dry before putting cushions back so they don’t absorb water.
Can I use it on wood, rattan, or metal patio furniture?
No for wood and wicker; it's made for plastic and resin. Don't let it sit on aluminum: rinse and dry any aluminum parts promptly. On mixed-material sets, spray only the plastic.
Buying and private label
What should we decide first for a private-label garden furniture & plastic cleaner?
Three things: household retail or hospitality patios, whether to add a larger concentrate for big furniture sets, and an outdoorsy scent like pine. Outdoor cleaning is seasonal, so stock before spring.
What are the sample, MOQ, and lead-time terms?
Free samples are usually ready in 3–5 days. Standard MOQ is 500 bottles, and bulk orders are scheduled after packaging and labels are approved.
What can be customized?
All of it: formula direction, scent, fill size (500 mL spray, 1 L refill, and more), mist or foam trigger, label design and language, and ecommerce bundles with a soft brush and plastic restorer.
Can we test samples first?
Yes, we ship samples first. Test them on white plastic chair samples weathered for a season outdoors like the ones your customers handle, and record texture grime removal, droppings and pollen removal, and effect on aged plastic and aluminum. That tells you more than a before-and-after photo.
Which documents can you provide?
We provide SDS/MSDS, a TDS, and batch COAs, plus bilingual label content for your target market. They aren’t posted publicly; we send them per project on inquiry.
How is private-label pricing quoted?
Pricing is tiered by packaging, trigger or cap, label, and order quantity, starting at the 500-bottle MOQ. Send your target quantity, fill size, and packaging needs, and we’ll quote unit prices by volume tier with sample and lead-time details.
