CleenU product solution
Microwave Cleaner
Mild alkaline degreaser · Low-foam wipe-off · Private label
Baked-on yellow splatter that just smears? Unplug, spray the walls, wait 3–5 minutes, wipe with a soft cloth, and finish with a damp cloth so no smell lingers. Factory-direct private label.
- Grease and sauce spatter the walls and get reheated again and again until they bake into a hard yellow film a wet cloth just smears. Mild alkaline builders soften and saponify that film, and surfactants emulsify it into particles that wipe off a few minutes after spraying.
- Heavy-duty kitchen degreasers are strongly alkaline for stovetops and hoods. A microwave is small and close to food, so this formula is milder and low-foam, and a damp-cloth finish leaves no smell. For old buildup, steam a bowl of water on high for 2–3 minutes first to soften it and save effort.

Before & after
Before and after (illustration)
Before: a microwave after a year has yellow grease spots on the ceiling and walls, dried sauce on the turntable rim, and a greasy smell. After: steamed, sprayed, left 4 minutes, wiped, and finished with a damp cloth, the walls are clean and the smell is gone.
- Before: yellow spots, dried sauce on the rim
- After steaming, spraying, wiping: clean walls
- Damp-cloth finish: smell gone

How it works
How baked-on grease wipes away
Microwave grime is food oil oxidized and partly polymerized by repeated heating. Mild alkaline builders saponify the oil and weaken its grip on enamel or stainless, and nonionic surfactants emulsify and disperse it. Pre-steaming speeds things up, a soft cloth removes the emulsion, and a damp cloth removes leftover cleaner.
- Unplug, remove turntable
- Steam to soften (optional)
- Spray, wait 3–5 minutes
- Wipe with a soft cloth
- Finish with a damp cloth

Usage guidance
Use guidance
- Unplug and remove the turntable to wash separately; for old buildup, microwave a bowl of water on high for 2–3 minutes first.
- Spray the walls and inside of the door and wait 3–5 minutes.
- Wipe with a soft cloth and finish with a wrung-out damp cloth; wipe the waveguide cover only lightly with a damp cloth.

Before you use it
Important notes
- Not for: Spraying the waveguide cover directly
- Not for: Cleaning while plugged in
- Not for: Steel wool on nonstick air fryer baskets
- Not for: Carbonized oven grime (use an oven cleaner)
- Test first for special materials, special equipment, or sensitive scenarios.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Find practical answers about Microwave Cleaner, private label, samples, MOQ, documents, and delivery.
Product, use, and procurement
Why is microwave splatter so hard to wipe off?
Grease and sauce spatter onto the walls and then get reheated over and over until they bake into a hard, yellow film. A wet cloth just smears it. A mild alkaline cleaner softens and emulsifies it so it wipes away in a few minutes.
How is this different from a kitchen degreaser?
Heavy-duty degreasers are strongly alkaline and built for stovetops and range hoods. A microwave is small and close to your food, so this formula is milder and low-foam, wipes off easily, and leaves no odor after a damp-cloth rinse.
How often should I clean the microwave?
Wipe splatters while they're still warm, and give the cavity, turntable, and door a full clean once a week.
What should we decide first for a private-label microwave cleaner?
Line, scent, and hook. Sell it solo or as part of a small-appliance line with oven and air fryer cleaners, lemon or unscented, and whether to bundle a steam-cleaning gadget, which films well for social video.
How fast can we get samples and a first order?
Free samples ship in 3–5 days. MOQ is 500 bottles, and production is scheduled once packaging and labels are approved.
Product usage questions
Should I unplug it first?
Yes. Unplug the microwave, take the turntable out to wash separately, then spray the walls.
Can I spray the waveguide cover?
Don't spray it directly. That small panel can arc if it gets soaked. Wipe it gently with a wrung-out cloth and a little cleaner.
What about old, baked-on grime?
Microwave a bowl of water on high for 2–3 minutes to steam it soft, unplug, spray, wait 3–5 minutes, wipe, and finish with a damp cloth.
Can I use it on my oven or air fryer?
On light grease on the exterior and interior, yes. Baked-on oven grime needs an oven cleaner, and nonstick air fryer baskets should be cleaned with a soft sponge, never steel wool.
What if the microwave smells?
Spray, let it sit, wipe clean, then heat a bowl of water with lemon slices for 2 minutes and leave the door open to air.
Can I soak the turntable?
Yes. Remove the glass plate, spray or soak, rinse, and dry.
Will it streak a stainless interior?
Not if you follow with a damp cloth and dry it.
Do those steam-cleaner gadgets for the microwave actually work?
They handle the first step, not the whole job. Steam softens dried splatter, but it doesn't break down the yellow grease film, so you still need a cleaner and a cloth. Steam for 2–3 minutes (a bowl of water works the same way), unplug, spray, wait 3–5 minutes, wipe, and finish with a damp cloth.
Can I use a cleaner inside the microwave?
Yes, as long as it's unplugged and you wipe off what's left. Use a mild cleaner like this one rather than a heavy-duty degreaser, keep it off the waveguide cover (wipe that panel with a wrung-out cloth instead), and follow up with a damp cloth so nothing is left to heat up later.
How soon can I use the microwave after cleaning it?
As soon as the cleaner is wiped off and the inside is dry. Leftover cleaner can give off an odor once it's heated, so finish with a damp cloth, put the rinsed turntable back, and leave the door open for a few minutes.
OEM/ODM customization questions
What can we customize?
Formula direction, scent, fill size (500 mL spray, refills, and more), trigger type, label design and language, and kits as part of a small-appliance cleaning line.
How should we test samples?
Try them in microwaves with at least a year of yellowed splatter, and record dwell time, number of wipes, streaking, and leftover odor. That tells you more than a before-and-after photo.
What paperwork comes with a private-label order?
Documents such as SDS/MSDS, TDS, COA, and label copy for your target market are prepared per project. We confirm which ones your order includes when we quote.
Launching your own microwave cleaner?
Send us your market, solo or line, scent, and estimated volume. We'll build out the small-appliance line with you.
