Toilet Bowl Cleaner
Clinging gel · Lifts rings and urine scale · Private label
A yellow-brown ring at the waterline and white urine scale around the rim jets? Squeeze a line under the rim, let the gel cling down the bowl for 10 minutes, scrub the waterline, and flush for a white bowl again. Private label from 500 bottles.
- The waterline is half in water and half in air, so calcium and magnesium keep crystallizing there and pick up urine pigment into a yellow-brown ring. Calcium phosphate and urates from urine build white scale around the under-rim jets and can block them. Calcium deposits like these need acid to dissolve.
- Liquid cleaners sink into the water fast and barely touch the waterline or under-rim area. Gel squeezed under the rim runs slowly down the bowl, giving every spot 10 minutes of contact, and the angled neck reaches under the rim to cover the jets.

Before & after
Before and after (use illustration)
Before: a clear yellow-brown ring at the waterline and white urine scale around the jets. After: gel, 10 minutes, brushing, and a flush leave the bowl white.
- Before: a yellow-brown waterline ring and white scale around the rim jets
- After: ring and scale gone, a white bowl again
- The gel clings to the bowl for a longer dwell

How it works
How Toilet Scale Dissolves
Waterline scale is mostly calcium carbonate; urine scale is calcium phosphate and urates. The acid converts these calcium salts into soluble ones, dissolving the deposit and releasing trapped pigment. A thickener keeps the gel on the glaze and surfactants help it wet and penetrate. Brushing and flushing carry it all away.
- Gel clings
- Acid dissolves calcium carbonate and phosphate
- Trapped pigment released
- Brush and flush

Where Toilet Bowl Cleaner stands out
The Waterline Ring and Urine Scale Are Both Calcium
The waterline is half in water and half in air, so calcium and magnesium keep crystallizing there and pick up urine pigment into a yellow-brown ring. Calcium phosphate and urates from urine build white scale around the under-rim jets and can block them. Calcium deposits like these need acid to dissolve.
Gel That Clings and a Neck That Reaches
Liquid cleaners sink into the water fast and barely touch the waterline or under-rim area. Gel squeezed under the rim runs slowly down the bowl, giving every spot 10 minutes of contact, and the angled neck reaches under the rim to cover the jets.

How to use
How do I remove the ring at the waterline?
Apply gel so it clings at the waterline, wait about 10 minutes, scrub hard, and run a second round for heavy rings.
Can I use it with bleach?
Never. Acid cleaners and bleach release toxic chlorine gas; use them separately with flushing and time in between.
What if the rim jets are clogged?
Fill under the rim with the angled neck, wait about 10 minutes, brush the jets, and flush; repeat if they are badly clogged.
Can I use it in the toilet tank?
Don't pour it into the tank. The fill valve, flush valve, and rubber seals in the tank can age and leak after long contact with acid. Use it in the bowl, under the rim, and at the waterline; scrub the tank with plain water.
The cleaner smells sharp. What precautions should I take, and what if it splashes on my skin?
It's an acidic gel (pH 1.0–2.5) with no chlorine; the sharp smell comes from the acid and fragrance. Acid irritates skin and eyes, so run the fan, wear gloves, and don't lean in to sniff it. If it splashes on skin, rinse with plenty of water; if it gets in your eyes, keep rinsing with water and see a doctor. Most important: never use it at the same time as bleach. Cap it and store it out of reach of children.
Can toilet bowl cleaner sit overnight?
There's no need. Squeeze a ring of gel under the rim, let it sit 10 minutes, scrub, and flush. For a stubborn ring, run a second round instead of leaving the acid in the bowl for hours.
Surfaces and common questions
Will it harm the glaze?
No; ceramic glaze is acid-resistant. Keep it off seats and metal.
Is it septic-safe?
At label dose, yes.
How often?
Weekly at home, more in hard water or public restrooms.
How do I reach a ring below the water line?
Push water down the drain with the brush to lower the level and expose the ring, then apply the gel, wait, and scrub. For old rings, wait about 10 minutes, scrub, and run a second round.
Can I use it on urinals?
Yes. Apply to the inner walls and around the drain, wait 10 minutes, scrub, and flush. For drains clogged with urine scale, use more and repeat.
How often in malls and office restrooms?
Daily for high-traffic public restrooms, focusing on the waterline and rim jets. Weekly is enough at home.
How do I get rid of brown stains in my toilet bowl?
Most come out. Brown stains are usually minerals in the water, such as iron and manganese, building up on the glaze together with urine scale. Squeeze the acid gel under the rim, let it sit 10 minutes, and scrub the brown areas; years of buildup take two or three rounds. Where the glaze is worn and rough, some color may remain.
Is vinegar and baking soda a good toilet cleaner?
Only for light scale. Vinegar is a weak acid and softens thin scale if left overnight; with baking soda the two mostly neutralize each other, so it fizzes but does little. For a waterline ring and scale at the rim jets, let an acid toilet gel sit 10 minutes, then scrub; it's faster and cleaner.
Buying and private label
What should we decide first for a private-label toilet bowl cleaner?
Three things: gel viscosity and angled bottle, scent (soap, ocean, lavender), and labeling per your market’s acid-product rules including the no-bleach warning.
What are the sample, MOQ, and lead-time terms?
Free samples are usually ready in 3–5 days, and we recommend testing first on ceramic toilet samples with rings and urine scale, recording ring and scale removal and cling time. Standard MOQ is 500 bottles, and bulk orders are scheduled after packaging and labels are approved. SDS/MSDS, a TDS, batch COAs, and bilingual label content are sent per project on inquiry.
What can be customized?
All of it: formula direction, scent, fill size (500 mL angled squeeze bottle and more), angled bottle, child-resistant cap, thick gel, label design and language, and ecommerce bundles with a toilet brush.
How is private-label pricing quoted?
Pricing is tiered by packaging, cap type, label, and order quantity, starting at the 500-bottle MOQ. Send your target quantity, fill size, and packaging needs, and we’ll quote unit prices by volume tier with sample and lead-time details.
