CleenU product solution
Whiteboard Cleaner
Dissolves ghosting · Fast-drying · Private label
Gray ghosting your eraser won't remove? Spray the board or a microfiber cloth, wipe clean, and dry; isopropyl alcohol dissolves old marker resin so the board turns bright white and writes smoothly again. Factory-direct private label.
- Dry-erase ink contains resin that works into micro-scratches over time; erasers can't get it out, and the board turns gray with ghost images. This cleaner dissolves that resin and pigment with isopropyl alcohol, lifts fingerprints with surfactants, and dries fast, bringing the board back to bright white.
- Permanent ink is harder to dissolve. Write over it with a dry-erase marker, wipe while wet, then clean with this spray, repeating for stubborn marks. Not for chalkboards. Regular cleaning looks better and makes writing smoother and colors crisper.

How it works
How ghosting dissolves
Dry-erase ink is pigment, alcohol-soluble resin, and release agents; over time resin and pigment lodge in micro-scratches. Isopropyl alcohol redissolves that resin so the pigment lifts away, mild surfactants emulsify fingerprint oil, microfiber picks up the dissolved residue, and the solvent flashes off without water marks.
- Spray board or cloth
- IPA dissolves leftover resin
- Emulsifies fingerprint oil
- Wipe with microfiber
- Dry with a cloth

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Find practical answers about Whiteboard Cleaner, private label, samples, MOQ, documents, and delivery.
Product, use, and procurement
Why does my whiteboard ghost?
Dry-erase ink contains resin that works into micro-scratches on the board over time, and an eraser can't get it out. Dissolving it regularly brings the board back.
Can it remove permanent marker?
Write over the permanent marker with a dry-erase marker, wipe while wet, then clean with this spray. Stubborn marks may need a few repeats.
How fast can we get samples and a first order?
Free samples ship in 3–5 days. MOQ is 500 bottles, and production is scheduled once packaging and labels are approved.
Product usage questions
How do I use it?
Spray the board or a microfiber cloth, wipe clean, and dry with a dry cloth.
When shouldn't I use it?
Not for chalkboards; permanent marker may take several passes.
Does it work on glass boards?
Yes. Glass is dense, so ghosting comes off even more easily; buff dry afterward.
Will it damage the board?
Not with microfiber as directed. Avoid abrasive pads and polishing pastes.
How often should I clean the board?
Weekly in offices, daily for classrooms and heavy-use boards.
Can I use it on interactive whiteboards?
Only with a cloth: power off and spray the cloth, not the screen or bezel gaps. Check the board maker's care instructions too.
Can I use it on chalkboards?
No. Clean chalkboards with water and a chalkboard eraser.
How often should I deep-clean?
Erase daily and deep-clean with the spray weekly.
Do dried-out markers cause ghosting?
Yes. They lay down more pigment and less solvent, so replace them promptly.
Can it clean marker off glass office partitions?
Yes. Spray and wipe with microfiber.
Can I just use water to clean my whiteboard?
Water handles fresh dust and light smudges, but it won't lift ghosting. Ghosting is dry-erase resin packed into micro-scratches, and plain water doesn't dissolve that resin. Erase first, then spray CleenU Whiteboard Cleaner on the board or a microfiber cloth, wipe, and dry with a clean cloth.
Can I use whiteboard cleaner on my eyeglasses or laptop screen?
No. It's made for whiteboards and glass marker boards, not lens coatings or display screens. Use a cleaner made for lenses or screens instead. If you're wiping an interactive whiteboard, power it off and spray the cloth, never the screen or bezel gaps.
How do I clean a really dirty whiteboard?
Erase everything dry first, then deep-clean with the spray. Erasing removes loose pigment so the cleaner can reach the resin film underneath. Spray, wipe in overlapping passes with microfiber, and switch to a clean side of the cloth as it grays. Dry the board fully before writing; if writing still won't erase cleanly after that, the board surface is worn and may need replacing.
