CleenU product solution
AC Condenser Coil Cleaner
Expanding foam pushes dirt out · Aluminum-safe · Private label
AC cooling less and the outdoor unit humming harder? Power off, brush off fluff, foam the fins, wait 5–10 minutes as the foam pushes dirt out, and rinse with low pressure from the inside out. Factory-direct private label.
- The outdoor unit sheds the heat pulled from inside. When fluff, dust, and grease clog the condenser fins, it can't, so the compressor works harder, efficiency drops, power use rises, and the unit hums louder. This foam expands into the fins and pushes grime outward, alkaline builders loosen it, an aluminum inhibitor protects the fins, and a low-pressure rinse opens them up.
- Aluminum fins are thin, and high pressure folds them over, blocking airflow worse than before. Rinse with low pressure from the inside out, along the fins. Always power off first and cover the control box and fan motor; have a pro handle units mounted high or outside upper floors.

Before & after
Before and after (illustration)
Before: a three-year-old condenser with fins matted by fluff and dust and weak summer cooling. After: powered off, fluff brushed away, foamed 8 minutes, and rinsed from the inside out on low, the fins are open and cooling is back.
- Before: matted fins, weak cooling
- Foamed 8 minutes, low-pressure rinse
- Open fins, cooling restored

How it works
How condenser fins get cleared
Condenser grime is a felt of cottonwood fibers, dust, pollen, and grease. Foaming surfactants keep expanding after application, pushing deep into the fins and forcing loose fibers and dust outward; alkaline builders saponify grease and loosen the binder, the aluminum inhibitor protects the metal, and low-pressure water along the fins carries it all away.
- Power off, brush off fluff
- Foam the fins
- Foam expands, pushes dirt out
- Wait 5–10 minutes
- Low-pressure rinse inside out

Use guidance

Where AC Condenser Coil Cleaner stands out
Why a dirty outdoor unit cools less
The outdoor unit sheds the heat pulled from inside.
Why never pressure-wash
Aluminum fins are thin, and high pressure folds them over, blocking airflow worse than before. Rinse with low pressure from the inside out, along the fins. Always power off first and cover the control box and fan motor; have a pro handle units mounted high or outside upper floors.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Find practical answers about AC Condenser Coil Cleaner, private label, samples, MOQ, documents, and delivery.
Product, use, and procurement
Does the outdoor unit need cleaning?
Yes. It's where heat leaves the system; clogged fins cut efficiency and raise power use. Cleaning it before summer each year pays off.
Can I pressure-wash it?
No. Aluminum fins are thin and high pressure folds them over, blocking airflow further. Use low pressure from the inside out.
How fast can we get samples and a first order?
Free samples ship in 3–5 days. MOQ is 500 bottles, and production is scheduled once packaging and labels are approved.
Product usage questions
How do I use it?
Power off, brush off loose fluff, foam the fins, wait 5–10 minutes as the foam pushes dirt out, and rinse with low-pressure water from inside out.
When shouldn't I use it?
Never pressure-wash the fins (it flattens them); cover the control box and fan motor; have a pro handle units mounted up high.
What if fins are already bent?
Straighten them gently with a fin comb, then clean.
Does it work on heat pumps?
Yes. Heat pump outdoor units exchange heat in winter too, and dirt hurts efficiency the same way.
How often should I clean the condenser?
Once a year before summer, or quarterly near cottonwoods, busy roads, or construction.
How soon can I turn it back on?
Once it has dripped dry and the controls are dry, usually about 30 minutes.
Can I use it on window or portable units?
Window unit condenser fins, yes, the same way; follow the manual for portables.
Should I cut power at the breaker?
Yes. Disconnect power or flip the breaker before starting.
Should I clear plants around the unit?
Yes. Keep about 2 feet clear around it for airflow.
Will the foam hurt nearby plants?
Keep heavy runoff out of beds, and wet plants with water first if needed.
Can I just use dish soap or a household cleaner on condenser coils?
It will knock off surface dust, but it won't do much for dirt packed between the fins. Thin liquids run off the coil before they can loosen the cottonwood fluff and road grime stuck in those narrow gaps. CleenU AC Condenser Coil Cleaner foams in place: let it sit 5–10 minutes so the foam lifts dirt out, then rinse from the inside out with low-pressure water.
Can I use this on the indoor evaporator coil too?
It's made for the outdoor condenser, so use it there. The evaporator sits inside the air handler above the drain pan, and you usually can't hose it down the way you rinse an outdoor unit. For the indoor coil, use a product labeled for evaporator coils and follow your system's manual, or have an HVAC tech handle it.
The coils still look gray after one rinse. What should I do?
Brush first, then foam again. Loose fluff on the face of the coil blocks the foam, so sweep it off with a soft brush before spraying. Once the unit has dripped dry, apply a second coat, wait 5–10 minutes, and rinse from the inside out with low pressure; comb any flattened fins straight first.
