CleenU product solution
Bicycle Cleaner
Foam softens road grime · Aluminum-safe · Private label
One ride and the frame is speckled with mud, the chainrings and cassette are ringed with black grime, and the wheels are dusty? Foam the whole bike, wait 2–3 minutes, brush the frame and wheels with a soft brush and the drivetrain with a stiff one, rinse on low, dry, and re-lube the chain. Factory-direct private label.
- Frames are mostly aluminum or carbon, and chainrings, cassettes, and the chain area collect black grime from chain lube and grit. Car wash can't cut it, and strong alkaline cleaners whiten aluminum. This foam clings to frame and drivetrain while mild alkali and surfactants emulsify grime and fling, an aluminum inhibitor protects alloy, and soft and stiff brushes plus a low rinse finish the job.
- Cleaner on disc rotors and pads reduces braking, so don't spray them directly; use a dedicated brake cleaner if needed. Keep it off bearings, hubs, bottom brackets, and e-bike battery ports, and never pressure-wash at close range. After drying, always re-lube the chain and test the brakes before riding.

Before & after
Before and after (illustration)
Before: an aluminum road bike after a 40-mile ride in the wet, with mud on the down tube and stays and black grime ringing the chainrings and cassette. After: foamed 3 minutes, frame and wheels soft-brushed, drivetrain stiff-brushed, rinsed low, dried, and chain lubed, the frame is clean and the drivetrain shows bare metal.
- Before: muddy frame, grimy drivetrain
- Foamed 3 minutes, brushed, rinsed, dried
- Clean frame, bare-metal drivetrain

How it works
How bike grime comes off
Bike grime is chain lube (mineral, synthetic, or wax) mixed with grit and brake dust. Mild alkaline builders saponify part of the oil, nonionic surfactants penetrate and emulsify grime and suspend particles, the foam holds the solution on vertical tubes and chainrings, and an aluminum inhibitor films alloy to reduce whitening and pitting.
- Foam the whole bike
- Wait 2–3 minutes
- Soft brush frame, stiff brush drivetrain
- Emulsify grime, suspend grit
- Rinse low, dry, re-lube

Where Bicycle Cleaner stands out
Why bikes need their own wash
Frames are mostly aluminum or carbon, and chainrings, cassettes, and the chain area collect black grime from chain lube and grit.
Avoid brakes and bearings
Cleaner on disc rotors and pads reduces braking, so don't spray them directly; use a dedicated brake cleaner if needed. Keep it off bearings, hubs, bottom brackets, and e-bike battery ports, and never pressure-wash at close range. After drying, always re-lube the chain and test the brakes before riding.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Find practical answers about Bicycle Cleaner, private label, samples, MOQ, documents, and delivery.
Product, use, and procurement
Can I use cleaner on disc brakes?
Keep cleaners and oil off rotors and pads or braking can fail. Cover the brakes while washing and use a dedicated disc brake cleaner if needed.
Should I lube the chain after washing?
Yes. Washing strips chain lube, so dry it and relube right away to prevent rust and rough shifting.
How fast can we get samples and a first order?
Free samples ship in 3–5 days. MOQ is 500 bottles, and production is scheduled once packaging and labels are approved.
Product usage questions
How do I use it?
Foam the whole bike, wait 2–3 minutes, brush the frame and wheels with a soft brush and the chainrings and cassette with a stiff brush, rinse with low pressure, dry, and relube the chain.
When shouldn't I use it?
Keep spray off disc rotors, pads, bearings, and e-bike battery contacts, and don't pressure-wash up close.
Can I wash the chain with it?
You can brush the outside; use a dedicated chain cleaner for deep cleaning, and always lube afterward.
What about bikes on an indoor trainer?
Mist and wipe sweat off the bars and frame; no rinse needed.
Can I use it on matte paint?
Yes, use as directed and test a hidden spot first. Rinse, then air-dry or blot with a soft cloth; don't wax.
How often should I wash my bike?
Every 2–4 weeks for commuting, and the same day after rain or trail rides.
Can I use it on carbon frames?
Yes, use as directed and test a hidden spot first; the formula is mild. Rinse and dry.
What about helmets and cycling shoes?
Use Helmet Cleaner on helmets; shoe exteriors can be sprayed, brushed, and rinsed.
Should I wash after riding on salted roads?
Yes. Road salt corrodes metal, so rinse the same day.
Can I use it on folding and kids' bikes?
Yes, the same way.
Can I use Dawn dish soap to wash my bike?
Use a dedicated bike wash for regular cleaning; dish soap will do in a pinch if you rinse it off thoroughly. Whatever you use, keep it off disc rotors and pads, rinse at low pressure, dry the bike, and relube the chain right away. CleenU Bicycle Cleaner foams over the whole bike and sits for 2–3 minutes before brushing, so grime loosens with less scrubbing. CleenU is not affiliated with Dawn.
How do I clean a mountain bike after a muddy ride?
Wash it the same day, before the mud dries. Cover the disc brakes, foam the whole bike, wait 2–3 minutes, then use a soft brush on the frame and wheels and a stiff brush on the chainrings and cassette. Rinse with low pressure rather than a close-range pressure washer, dry the bike, and relube the chain.
