CleenU product solution
Blood Stain Remover
High-protease formula · Works in cold water · Private label
Blood on underwear or sheets that hot water only set? Rinse cold, spray both sides, rub, wait 5–15 minutes, and wash cold; the blood protein breaks down and the fabric stays intact. Factory-direct private label.
- Blood is mostly protein, and hot water cooks it into the fibers like a boiled egg. Rinse cold from the back first, then treat: a high level of protease breaks the protein into pieces cold water can rinse away, while a chelator and a touch of active oxygen fade the reddish-brown mark hemoglobin leaves.
- General sprays have to cover grease and dye stains and carry limited protease. This targets protein stains like blood with more enzyme plus a little active oxygen. For old dried stains, soak with cold water first and let it sit 15–30 minutes, repeating for dark marks. Never soak a mattress; mist and blot with a cold damp cloth.

Before & after
Before and after (illustration)
Before: a light cotton sheet with an overnight-dried, reddish-brown period stain. After: rinsed cold from the back, sprayed, rubbed, left 15 minutes, and washed cold, the stain is essentially gone with only a very faint trace.
- Before: dried reddish-brown stain
- Rinsed cold, sprayed, 15 minutes, washed cold
- Stain essentially gone

How it works
How blood stains break down
Blood stains are mostly hemoglobin, albumin, and fibrin; as they dry, the proteins denature and bind to fibers, and iron in heme leaves a reddish-brown color. Protease hydrolyzes the protein chains into soluble pieces, a chelator binds the iron, a little hydrogen peroxide oxidizes leftover pigment, and cold water avoids heat-setting the protein.
- Rinse cold from the back
- Spray both sides
- Protease breaks down protein
- Wait 5–15 minutes
- Wash cold

Product, use, and procurement
Why does blood need cold water?
Blood is mostly protein, and hot water cooks it into the fibers like a boiled egg. Rinse cold first, then let the enzymes do the work, and it comes out far more easily.
How is this different from a general stain remover?
General stain sprays have to cover grease and dye stains too. This one targets protein stains like blood, with a higher protease level and a touch of active oxygen to fade the reddish-brown mark hemoglobin leaves.
Will it work on old, dried blood?
It helps. Soak the stain with cold water, saturate it with the spray, wait 15–30 minutes, rub, and wash. Repeat for dark stains, or soak in cold water with oxygen bleach powder.
What should we decide first for a private-label blood stain remover?
Format, use case, and kit. A spray or a portable stain pen (period care users want portable), whether to lead with period care, sports, or pet care, and whether to pair it with a lingerie wash as a women's laundry care set.
How fast can we get samples and a first order?
Free samples ship in 3–5 days. MOQ is 500 bottles, and production is scheduled once packaging and labels are approved.
Do I need a blood stain remover if I already use a good detergent?
Yes, for blood you'll get better results pretreating first. Detergent spreads its effort across a whole load and doesn't sit on one spot for long. This spray has a higher protease level and dwells right on the stain, so pretreat, then wash on cold as usual.
Product usage questions
How do I use it?
Rinse the stain from the back with cold water, saturate both sides, rub with your fingertips, wait 5–15 minutes, then hand wash cold or machine wash on cold.
What about blood on sheets or a mattress?
Treat sheets as above and machine wash. For a mattress, don't soak it: mist the spot lightly, let it sit, blot with a cold damp cloth, and dry it with a fan.
Will it fade dark clothes?
It contains a little active oxygen, so test dark or non-colorfast items on an inside seam first. Colorfast fabrics are fine.
What fabrics should I avoid?
Wool, silk, and silk blends, because protease damages protein fibers; also leather and dry-clean-only items.
Does it work on period stains?
Yes. Rinse with cold water, spray, wait 5–10 minutes, then rub and wash.
How do I treat blood on a sofa?
Spray, blot with a cloth without rubbing, and repeat.
Can I use it with detergent?
Yes. Pretreat, then wash as usual.
How do I get blood out of carpet?
Blot, don't scrub. Soak up what you can with a cold damp cloth, mist the stain, let it sit, then keep blotting with a clean cold damp cloth until no more color transfers, and dry with a fan. Skip wool rugs, since protease can damage wool fibers.
Can I still remove blood that went through hot water or the dryer?
You can usually lighten it, but heat-set blood is harder than a stain that never saw heat. Heat cooks the protein into the fibers, so rewet it with cold water, saturate it, wait 15–30 minutes, rub, and wash cold. Repeat or soak cold in oxygen bleach powder, and keep it out of the dryer until the stain is gone.
OEM/ODM customization questions
What can we customize?
Formula direction, scent (mostly fragrance-free), fill size (250 mL spray, stain pen, and more), label design and language, and women's care kits with a lingerie wash.
How should we test samples?
Use fresh, 24-hour, and week-old blood stain swatches on cotton, polyester, and colored fabric, and record stain removal, leftover color, and any fading. That tells you more than a before-and-after photo.
What paperwork comes with a private-label order?
Documents such as SDS/MSDS, TDS, COA, and label copy for your target market are prepared per project. We confirm which ones your order includes when we quote.
