CleenU product solution
Lingerie & Underwear Wash
Mildly acidic and gentle · Lifts sweat and discharge · Private label
Regular detergent leaves lace stiff, waistbands stretched out, and discharge and period stains still showing? Add 1 tsp per half gallon of cool water (under 86°F), soak 5 minutes, knead gently, rinse cool, and dry flat or hanging. Factory-direct private label.
- Intimates sit against skin, so sweat, oil, and discharge are protein stains. Regular detergent is alkaline and aggressive, often with optical brighteners and heavy fragrance that stiffen lace, stretch out elastane, and bother sensitive skin. This wash is mildly acidic, with protease that breaks down protein stains in cool water and citric acid to soften water, so gentle kneading cleans while protecting lace and stretch.
- Protein in blood and discharge sets in hot water and binds into the fibers, so soak in water under 86°F and let the protease work before kneading. Skip hot soaks and the dryer to protect elastane; hand-wash bras or use a mesh bag on gentle, and dry flat or hang by the band. Use a silk wash on silk.

Before & after
Before and after (illustration)
Before: light cotton briefs worn for months with yellowed discharge stains, one with period blood, and a lace bra stiffened by regular detergent. After: soaked 5 minutes in cool water, kneaded, rinsed cool, and air-dried, the stains are gone and the lace feels soft.
- Before: yellowed stains, blood, stiff lace
- Cool soak 5 minutes, kneaded, rinsed, dried
- Stains out, soft lace

How it works
How protein stains come out in cool water
Sweat, discharge, and blood are mostly protein, skin oil, and hemoglobin. Protease stays active below 86°F and cuts proteins into soluble peptides, nonionic surfactants emulsify skin oil, citric acid chelates hard-water calcium and magnesium so they don't bind soil to fabric, and the mildly acidic pH limits damage to elastane and nylon lace while leaving fabric soft after rinsing.
- 5 mL per 2 L cool water
- Soak 5 minutes
- Protease breaks down protein
- Knead gently
- Rinse cool, air-dry

Where Lingerie & Underwear Wash stands out
Why intimates need their own wash
Intimates sit against skin, so sweat, oil, and discharge are protein stains.
Cool water for blood and discharge
Protein in blood and discharge sets in hot water and binds into the fibers, so soak in water under 86°F and let the protease work before kneading. Skip hot soaks and the dryer to protect elastane; hand-wash bras or use a mesh bag on gentle, and dry flat or hang by the band. Use a silk wash on silk.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Find practical answers about Lingerie & Underwear Wash, private label, samples, MOQ, documents, and delivery.
Product, use, and procurement
Should underwear be washed separately?
We recommend it. Underwear soils differ from outerwear, and a dedicated wash gets them cleaner without cross-contamination.
Why cold water?
Discharge and blood are proteins that set into fibers in hot water. Cold water also protects lace and elastic.
How fast can we get samples and a first order?
Free samples ship in 3–5 days. MOQ is 500 bottles, and production is scheduled once packaging and labels are approved.
Product usage questions
How do I use it?
Hand wash with 1 teaspoon per half gallon of water under 86°F, soak 5 minutes, knead gently, rinse cool, and dry flat or hanging in the shade; machine-wash bras in a mesh bag on gentle.
When shouldn't I use it?
Not for silk; avoid hot water and the dryer to protect elastic fibers.
Will it remove dried period stains?
Soak in cool water for 30 minutes, then work in a little wash undiluted and knead; repeat if needed.
Can I use it on men's underwear?
Yes, for underwear and base layers in general; check the care label first.
Can I machine-wash with it?
Yes. Use a mesh bag on a cool gentle cycle with about 10–15 mL per load.
What should I keep in mind with baby clothes?
Hand-wash in cool water with the unscented version and rinse well; stop using it and see a doctor if baby's skin shows irritation.
Can I use it on sports bras?
Yes. Soak cool, knead gently, and dry flat.
Will shapewear boning warp?
Not if you hand-wash gently without wringing and dry flat.
How long does a bottle last?
At about 5 mL per wash, 300 mL lasts around two months.
What should I keep in mind during pregnancy?
Use the normal amount and rinse well; the unscented version suits scent-sensitive users. Stop if your skin feels irritated and check with your doctor.
