Milk Frother Cleaner
Breaks down milk residue · Clears steam tips · Private label
Baked-on milk on the steam wand, clogged tip holes, coarser foam every day? Run the milk-system cleaning cycle at 1:10 and soak tips and parts 10–15 minutes before brushing—the protein and fat let go and the holes clear. Private label from 500 bottles.
- A steam wand runs hot, so splashed milk heats instantly and its proteins, casein and whey, denature and set like a cooked egg into a water-insoluble crust with fat trapped inside. Wiping the outside each time lets residue build inside the tip until the steam jets narrow and angle off and the froth goes coarse and unstable. The alkali in this cleaner hydrolyzes and swells the denatured protein and saponifies the milk fat, so the crust softens and falls away.
- An automatic machine’s milk system is a long, narrow line plus a frothing module, and milk left inside can grow microbes and turn sour. Each day, mix 1:10, put the milk tube in the solution, and run the machine’s milk-clean cycle so it flows through the whole line, then run clean water through once or twice to leave no residue. Take removable frother parts apart for a weekly soak and brush.

How it works
How Baked-On Milk Dissolves
Milk scale is heat-denatured casein, whey protein, and milk fat, often with some calcium salts. In alkaline conditions the proteins take on negative charge and repel one another, swelling, and some peptide bonds hydrolyze, so the crust softens. Milk fat saponifies into water-soluble fatty-acid salts, and surfactants disperse the broken-up protein and fat. A thorough rinse removes the cleaner and dissolved soil so food-contact parts are left clean.
- Alkali swells denatured protein
- Hydrolyzes peptide bonds
- Saponifies milk fat
- Surfactants disperse
- Thorough rinse

Usage guidance
Use guidance
- Automatic systems: mix 50 mL cleaner with 500 mL warm water (1:10), place the milk tube in it, and run the milk-clean cycle.
- Then switch to clean water and run the rinse cycle once or twice until the output has no foam or smell.
- Remove wand tips and frother parts, soak at 1:10 for 10 to 15 minutes, brush the holes, and rinse thoroughly; wipe the wand with a damp cloth and purge steam once.

Where Milk Frother Cleaner stands out
Milk Scale Is Cooked Protein, and Water Won’t Move It
A steam wand runs hot, so splashed milk heats instantly and its proteins, casein and whey, denature and set like a cooked egg into a water-insoluble crust with fat trapped inside. Wiping the outside each time lets residue build inside the tip until the steam jets narrow and angle off and the froth goes coarse and unstable. The alkali in this cleaner hydrolyzes and swells the denatured protein and saponifies the milk fat, so the crust softens and falls away.
Run Automatic Milk Systems Through Their Cycle, Then Rinse Twice
An automatic machine’s milk system is a long, narrow line plus a frothing module, and milk left inside can grow microbes and turn sour. Each day, mix 1:10, put the milk tube in the solution, and run the machine’s milk-clean cycle so it flows through the whole line, then run clean water through once or twice to leave no residue. Why choose CleenU for Milk Frother Cleaner?
From product positioning and samples to packaging and repeat supply, CleenU supports OEM/ODM projects built around Milk Frother Cleaner.
Low foam is key
Too much foam in a milk-clean cycle interferes with sensors and rinsing, so we keep the formula low-foaming.
Measuring-cup bottle or single doses
A cup cap makes 1:10 easy; single-dose packs suit subscriptions and cafés.
Sample reviews with clear criteria
Review samples on your crusted steam-wand tips and milk-line samples against clear points: baked-on milk dissolving speed, milk-cycle compatibility, and residue after rinsing.
Unscented
Cleaners for beverage equipment carry no fragrance so flavor isn’t affected.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Find practical answers about Milk Frother Cleaner, private label, samples, MOQ, documents, and delivery.
How to use
Why is my milk froth getting coarse?
Usually the wand tip is partly blocked with milk residue, narrowing and deflecting the steam. Remove the tip, soak at 1:10 for 15 minutes, clear the holes, and the froth turns silky again.
How often should I clean an automatic milk system?
Run the milk-clean cycle every day you use milk, and strip and wash removable frothing parts weekly.
How is this different from descaler?
Descaler is acidic and dissolves mineral scale from water; this is alkaline and dissolves milk protein and fat. They go in different places and must never be mixed.
Why use a milk frother cleaner instead of dish soap?
Because heated milk residue is denatured protein, and dish soap is built for grease, not that. Once milk bakes onto a steam wand or frother, the proteins set like cooked egg and trap fat inside. An alkaline milk cleaner swells and breaks down that protein and saponifies the fat, so the crust softens instead of just getting wiped over. It's low-foaming and unscented, so it rinses clean for the next drink.
Surfaces and common questions
Will it affect the taste?
No. It’s unscented and dye-free; after rinsing once or twice, when the water runs free of foam and smell, you’re good to go.
Can I use it on handheld frothers and pitchers?
Yes. Soak stainless pitchers and frother parts at 1:10, brush, and rinse. Don’t use it on aluminum.
What should a café do daily?
At close, run the milk cycle, soak wand tips and pitchers for 15 minutes, and purge the wand before service the next day.
What’s a quick end-of-day routine for the steam wand?
After every pitcher, wipe the wand and purge for two seconds. At close, remove the tip, soak it 10 minutes in a 1:10 solution, brush the holes, rinse, and reinstall.
Can I soak milk pitchers and frothing jugs?
Stainless pitchers, yes—soak 10 minutes at 1:10, then brush and rinse. Not aluminum. Never submerge the motor base of an electric frother.
How do I know it’s fully rinsed?
Run or soak one more round of clean water: no foam, no odor, and no slippery feel means it’s rinsed. If in doubt, rinse again before making drinks.
How do I get burnt milk out of an electric milk frother?
Soak the jug in a 1:10 solution for 10 to 15 minutes, then brush it out, but keep the motor base dry. Burnt-on milk is heat-set protein and fat, which plain water barely touches, while an alkaline solution softens and loosens it. If the jug comes off the base, soak it; if not, pour the solution inside and let it sit. Check the manual if the inside is coated, use a soft brush, and rinse until there's no foam or slippery feel.
Buying and private label
What should we decide first for a private-label milk frother cleaner?
Three things: liquid, tablet, or powder (machine brands differ); home super-automatics or café commercial; and whether to pair with the descaler as a scale-and-milk kit. Coffee machine consumables repurchase steadily and suit subscriptions and kits.
What are the sample, MOQ, and lead-time terms?
Free samples are usually ready in 3–5 days. Standard MOQ is 500 bottles, and bulk orders are scheduled after packaging and labels are approved.
What can be customized?
All of it: formula direction, scent, fill size (500 mL measuring-cap grip bottle, 1 L refill, and more), measuring cap, single-dose sachets, tablets, label design and language, and ecommerce bundles with the descaler and a fine brush.
Can we test samples first?
Yes, we ship samples first. Test them on crusted steam-wand tips and milk-line samples like the ones your customers handle, and record baked-on milk dissolving speed, milk-cycle compatibility, and residue after rinsing. That tells you more than a before-and-after photo.
Which documents can you provide?
We provide SDS/MSDS, a TDS, and batch COAs, plus bilingual label content for your target market. They aren’t posted publicly; we send them per project on inquiry.
How is private-label pricing quoted?
Pricing is tiered by packaging, cap type, label, and order quantity, starting at the 500-bottle MOQ. Send your target quantity, fill size, and packaging needs, and we’ll quote unit prices by volume tier with sample and lead-time details.
