CleenU product solution
Pet Bowl Cleaner
Food-grade formula · Lifts slimy bowl film · Private label
Water bowl feels slimy, the food bowl smells fishy, and the fountain reservoir has a film? Empty the bowl, pump 1–2 times onto a sponge, scrub sides and bottom, rinse thoroughly under running water, and let it dry before use. Fragrance- and dye-free, factory-direct private label.
- Saliva, food oil, and crumbs stay on bowl walls at every meal and drink, and bacteria build a slimy biofilm on the damp surface that water alone won't remove, with a fishy smell that can put some pets off eating and drinking. This wash lifts oil and saliva with food-grade alkyl polyglucoside, helps remove slime with sodium citrate, and cuts odor with cyclodextrin, rinsing clean with no fragrance or dye.
- Rinse thoroughly under running water after scrubbing and let bowls dry before your pet uses them, and keep a sponge separate from human dishes. Don't soak fountain motors or filters; take apart the reservoir and spout per the manual and replace filters on schedule. This is a cleaner and makes no germ-killing claims.

Before & after
Before and after (illustration)
Before: a dog's stainless water bowl after three days, slimy to the touch, and a ceramic food bowl with an oily, fishy ring. After: scrubbed with 2 pumps on a sponge, rinsed under running water, and dried, the bowls aren't slimy and the smell is gone.
- Before: slimy water bowl, oily food bowl
- 2 pumps, scrubbed, rinsed, dried
- No slime, no smell

How it works
How slimy film washes off
Bowl slime is bacterial polysaccharide gluing salivary mucin, food oil, and crumbs to the bowl. Alkyl polyglucoside emulsifies oil and wets into the film, sodium citrate chelates calcium and magnesium to weaken the polysaccharide matrix, sponge scrubbing peels the film away, and cyclodextrin traps odor molecules.
- Empty food and water
- 1–2 pumps on a sponge
- Scrub sides and bottom
- Emulsify oil, lift film
- Rinse under running water, dry

Where Pet Bowl Cleaner stands out
Why pet bowls get slimy
Saliva, food oil, and crumbs stay on bowl walls at every meal and drink, and bacteria build a slimy biofilm on the damp surface that water alone won't remove, with a fishy smell that can put some pets off eating and drinking. This wash lifts oil and saliva with food-grade alkyl polyglucoside, helps remove slime with sodium citrate, and cuts odor with cyclodextrin, rinsing clean with no fragrance or dye.
Rinse well and dry before use
Rinse thoroughly under running water after scrubbing and let bowls dry before your pet uses them, and keep a sponge separate from human dishes. Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Find practical answers about Pet Bowl Cleaner, private label, samples, MOQ, documents, and delivery.
Product, use, and procurement
How often should I wash pet bowls?
Food bowls after every meal, water bowls daily with fresh water, and fountains disassembled and washed weekly.
Why not wash pet bowls with our dishes?
Pet bowls carry different residue and bacteria, so a separate sponge is more hygienic.
How fast can we get samples and a first order?
Free samples ship in 3–5 days. MOQ is 500 bottles, and production is scheduled once packaging and labels are approved.
Product usage questions
How do I use it?
Empty the bowl, pump 1–2 times onto a sponge, scrub the walls and bottom, rinse thoroughly under running water, and dry before refilling.
When shouldn't I use it?
Don't submerge fountain motors or filters, and don't share sponges with people's dishes.
How often should I wash bowls?
Water bowls daily, food bowls after each meal, and fountain reservoirs weekly.
What about scratched plastic bowls?
Scratches hide grime, so scrub them extra; consider switching heavily scratched plastic to stainless or ceramic.
Can I wash pet toys?
Plastic and rubber toys, yes: scrub, rinse, and dry.
Can I use it in a dishwasher?
No. It's a hand-wash formula, and its suds aren't suited to dishwashers.
How do I clean slow-feeder grooves?
Scrub grooves with a small brush and diluted solution, rinse, and dry.
Can I use it on automatic feeders?
On removable trays and hoppers, yes; keep electronics dry.
Can I wash travel water bottles?
Yes. Take them apart, scrub, and rinse.
What about scale in stainless bowls?
Soak in diluted citric acid, rinse, then wash with this.
What can I put in my dog's water bowl to keep it clean?
Nothing—keep cleaners out of the water and wash the bowl itself every day instead. Empty it, pump 1–2 times of CleenU Pet Bowl Cleaner onto a sponge, scrub the walls and bottom where the slimy film builds up, rinse thoroughly under running water, and dry before refilling. Use a sponge that never touches your own dishes.
How do I clean stainless steel dog bowls?
Wash them by hand after every meal with 1–2 pumps on a sponge, then rinse well and dry. If white mineral scale builds up, soak the bowl in diluted citric acid first, rinse, and then wash it as usual. Keep stainless bowls out of the dishwasher when you use this formula—it's made for hand washing and its suds don't suit dishwashers.
