CleenU product solution
Shoe & Sock Deodorizer Spray
Zinc binds foot odor · Quick-dry mint · Private label
Take your shoes off and the whole room knows? After wearing, spray 3–5 times inside the shoe and on the insole and let them dry somewhere airy; mist the shoe cabinet weekly for a cool mint scent. Factory-direct private label.
- Sweat itself barely smells. Bacteria in the shoe break it down into sulfur compounds and short-chain fatty acids that soak into insoles and linings and build up. Zinc ricinoleate binds those molecules, cyclodextrin traps what's left, and a little alcohol dries it fast so shoes don't get wet, leaving a cool mint scent.
- Spray daily-wear sneakers and work shoes every time you take them off, and rotate two pairs so each dries out fully. Insoles can come out to spray or wash. Don't spray suede exteriors or broken skin, and see a doctor for athlete's foot; a deodorizer isn't a treatment.

Before & after
Before and after (illustration)
Before: daily sneakers with a strong foot odor when taken off. After: three sprays in each shoe and on each insole, left overnight somewhere airy, and the next day there's only a light mint scent inside.
- Before: strong foot odor
- Three sprays per shoe and insole, aired overnight
- Only a light mint scent the next day

How it works
How foot odor gets bound
Foot odor is mainly short-chain fatty acids like isovaleric acid and sulfur compounds like methanethiol, produced by skin bacteria breaking down sweat and skin. Zinc in zinc ricinoleate binds sulfur and carboxylic groups so the molecules stay put instead of evaporating, cyclodextrin traps other oily odor molecules, and alcohol speeds drying to lower humidity in the shoe.
- After taking shoes off
- Spray inside and insoles 3–5 times
- Zinc binds odor molecules
- Cyclodextrin traps the rest
- Dry somewhere airy

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Find practical answers about Shoe & Sock Deodorizer Spray, private label, samples, MOQ, documents, and delivery.
Product, use, and procurement
Why do shoes smell?
Sweat itself barely smells. Bacteria in the shoe break it down into sulfur compounds and fatty acids. Keeping shoes dry and treating odor promptly makes a big difference.
Should I spray them every day?
Daily for sneakers and work shoes you wear a lot, right after you take them off. Rotating two pairs so each dries out fully helps even more.
How fast can we get samples and a first order?
Free samples ship in 3–5 days. MOQ is 500 bottles, and production is scheduled once packaging and labels are approved.
Product usage questions
How do I use it?
Spray 3–5 times inside the shoe and on the insole after taking them off and leave them somewhere airy to dry; mist the shoe cabinet weekly.
When shouldn't I use it?
Don't spray the outside of suede, don't spray broken skin, and see a doctor for athlete's foot or other skin conditions.
Can I spray socks?
You can mist the inside of socks before wearing, but change and wash socks often; the spray is a helper.
Can I use it in leather shoes?
Inside, yes; don't soak smooth leather exteriors.
Does it treat athlete's foot?
No. It's a deodorizer; see a doctor for skin conditions.
What should I keep in mind with kids' shoes?
Spray inside only and let them dry before your child wears them; store the bottle out of children's reach.
Can I spray the shoe cabinet?
Yes. Mist the inside lightly and air it out.
How soon can I wear shoes after spraying?
After 10–15 minutes, once dry.
Can it replace washing shoes?
No. Wash dirty shoes; the spray handles odor between washes.
Will it discolor shoes?
Test inside light-colored and suede shoes first.
Why do my shoes stink when I wear them without socks?
Without socks, sweat goes straight into the insole, where bacteria break it down into sulfur compounds and fatty acids that smell. Spray the inside and the insole 3–5 times right after you take the shoes off, let them dry somewhere airy, and rotate pairs so each one dries out.
How do I deodorize leather shoes?
Treat the inside, not the outside. Spray 3–5 times on the lining and insole after wearing, give them 10–15 minutes to dry before you put them on, and keep the spray off smooth leather exteriors. Rotating pairs lets the lining dry out between wears.
