CleenU product solution
Steam Cleaner Solution
Low-foam, won't clog nozzles · Cleaner steam mopping · Private label
Steam mopping with plain water still leaves greasy prints and footprints, and scale builds in the tank? Add about 1 tsp per 17 oz of water (1:100) to the tank and steam as usual. Low-foam so nozzles stay clear. Factory-direct private label.
- Steam softens soil with heat, but skin oil in footprints and kitchen grease don't emulsify easily in vapor alone, so a thin film can stay behind, and in hard-water areas tanks and nozzles slowly scale up and steam output drops. This low-foam solution carries surfactant to the floor with the steam to help emulsify grease, while chelators curb scale.
- Not every steamer allows additives in the tank, so check the manual first. Add it only at 1:100, never neat; too strong and it foams and clogs nozzles. Unsealed wood and heat-sensitive floors aren't suited to steam. Rinse the tank when switching between solution and plain water.

Before & after
Before and after (illustration)
Before: 1,000 sq ft of tile steam-mopped with plain water, still showing greasy prints and footprints by the living room and kitchen doors, with steam output dropping. After: 1:100 in the tank and a normal steam pass, the prints are clearly reduced and the floor feels clean with a light fresh scent.
- Before: prints on tile, weak steam
- 1:100 in the tank, normal steaming
- Fewer prints, fresh floor

How it works
Why low-foam matters
A steamer's boiler and nozzle passages are narrow, and ordinary cleaners foam, spraying suds onto the floor or clogging nozzles. This uses low-foam nonionic surfactants that stay low-sudsing at high temperature with little residue, while chelators bind calcium and magnesium so less scale deposits in the boiler, keeping steam output steady.
- Dilute 1:100
- Fill the tank
- Heated into steam
- Surfactant emulsifies grease
- Chelators curb scale

Usage guidance

Where Steam Cleaner Solution stands out
Why plain water falls short
Steam softens soil with heat, but skin oil in footprints and kitchen grease don't emulsify easily in vapor alone, so a thin film can stay behind, and in hard-water areas tanks and nozzles slowly scale up and steam output drops. This low-foam solution carries surfactant to the floor with the steam to help emulsify grease, while chelators curb scale.
Check the manual, then dilute
Not every steamer allows additives in the tank, so check the manual first. Add it only at 1:100, never neat; too strong and it foams and clogs nozzles. Unsealed wood and heat-sensitive floors aren't suited to steam. Rinse the tank when switching between solution and plain water.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Find practical answers about Steam Cleaner Solution, private label, samples, MOQ, documents, and delivery.
Product, use, and procurement
Can I add regular cleaner to a steam mop?
We don't recommend it. Regular cleaners foam and can clog the steam lines and nozzle or damage the machine. Use a low-foam solution made for steamers, and check your manual.
Will it leave floors sticky?
Not at 1:100. Only an overly strong mix leaves a film.
How fast can we get samples and a first order?
Free samples ship in 3–5 days. MOQ is 500 bottles, and production is scheduled once packaging and labels are approved.
Product usage questions
How do I use it?
Dilute 1:100 (about 1 teaspoon per 17 oz of water) in the tank and steam as usual.
When shouldn't I use it?
Confirm your steamer's manual allows additives first; never add concentrate straight; not for unsealed wood floors.
Can I use it in a wet-dry floor scrubber?
It's designed for steamers; use a scrubber-specific solution or follow that machine's manual.
How long does a bottle last?
At 1:100, 500 mL makes about 13 gallons of cleaning water.
Can I steam laminate floors?
Follow the flooring maker's guidance; many laminates don't tolerate heat and moisture.
What if my tank already has scale?
Descale per the manual first, then start using this to limit new buildup.
Can I use it in a handheld steamer for the stovetop?
Yes. Add it to the tank at the right ratio and kitchen grease lifts more easily.
How should I maintain the tank?
Empty it regularly and rinse with water so nothing builds up.
Can I use it in a steam iron?
No. Use only plain or distilled water in steam irons.
Is the scent strong?
Just a light fresh scent at 1:100.
Can I use it in a carpet cleaner or carpet shampooer?
No. Use the solution your carpet cleaner's manual calls for. This product is made for steam cleaners and steam mops, where low foam matters most. Carpet extractors have their own detergent and dosing requirements, so follow that machine's manual.
Will adding it make my steam mop disinfect?
No. It's a cleaner, not a disinfectant. At 1:100 in the tank, it helps the steam carry away everyday grime. If a surface needs disinfecting, clean it first, then use a disinfectant separately as its label directs. Never pour disinfectant into the steamer tank.
