CleenU product solution
White Shoe Cleaner
Waterless foam · Built-in brush · Private label
Scuffed, dingy white sneakers? Pump foam, scrub in circles with the brush, wait 1–2 minutes, wipe, and dry in the shade, with no soaking, warping, or yellow tide marks. Factory-direct private label.
- Canvas and mesh hold dust and mud, leather picks up oily prints, midsoles collect scuffs, and overall graying is leftover residue. The foam clings instead of running, surfactants pull dirt and oil into the lather, and you vary the brush: circles on canvas, light strokes on leather, back and forth on the midsole.
- Soaking saturates the insole, midsole glue, and padding, so shoes dry slowly and can warp or come unglued, and leftover detergent and glue wick up and dry as yellow tide marks in the sun. Foam uses little water; wipe and dry in the shade and those marks don't form. Rubber that yellowed from age has changed color itself, and no cleaner reverses that, which we say plainly on the page.

Before & after
Before and after (illustration)
Before: white canvas sneakers after two months of wear, gray overall with black scuffs on the toe and sidewall and mud on the rubber. After: foam-scrubbed, wiped, and dried an hour in the shade, the uppers are white again, scuffs clearly lighter, with no yellow marks.
- Before: gray uppers, black sidewall scuffs
- After scrubbing and drying: white again
- Scuffs lighter, no yellow marks

How it works
How the dirt comes off
Sneaker soil falls into particulate dirt (dust, mud), oily soil (skin oil, prints), and stains set in the fibers. Nonionic and amphoteric surfactants wet the fibers and surround particles and oil, the brush moves them into the foam, a touch of hydrogen peroxide oxidizes pigment in canvas, and a damp cloth wipes foam and dirt away together.
- Knock off loose dirt
- Pump foam, scrub in circles
- Wait 1–2 minutes
- Wipe away foam and dirt
- Dry in the shade

Where White Shoe Cleaner stands out
Different dirt, different technique
Canvas and mesh hold dust and mud, leather picks up oily prints, midsoles collect scuffs, and overall graying is leftover residue. The foam clings instead of running, surfactants pull dirt and oil into the lather, and you vary the brush: circles on canvas, light strokes on leather, back and forth on the midsole.
Why we don't soak sneakers
Soaking saturates the insole, midsole glue, and padding, so shoes dry slowly and can warp or come unglued, and leftover detergent and glue wick up and dry as yellow tide marks in the sun. Foam uses little water; wipe and dry in the shade and those marks don't form. Rubber that yellowed from age has changed color itself, and no cleaner reverses that, which we say plainly on the page.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Find practical answers about White Shoe Cleaner, private label, samples, MOQ, documents, and delivery.
Product, use, and procurement
Why do white shoes turn yellow after washing?
Usually from leftover detergent and glue that wicked to the surface and dried in the sun as yellow tide marks. Foam cleaning uses very little water; wipe it off and dry the shoes in the shade, and you avoid those marks.
Can it whiten yellowed soles?
Only if it's dirt. Mud and grime brush off, but rubber that yellowed from age and sun has changed color itself, and no cleaner reverses that.
Why not just scrub them with laundry detergent?
Detergent needs a lot of water, and soaked shoes can warp, come unglued, and dry with yellow marks. Foam uses little water and wipes off, works on leather and mesh, and has you out the door in ten minutes.
What should we decide first for a private-label sneaker cleaner?
Format, bundle, and look. A brush-top bottle travels well, and foam plus a separate brush raises the basket size. Sell it solo or as a cleaner, wipe, and eraser kit, and choose between sneaker-culture branding and everyday family utility, since the channels and buyers differ.
How fast can we get samples and a first order?
Free samples ship in 3–5 days. MOQ is 500 bottles, and production is scheduled once packaging and labels are approved.
Does white shoe cleaner actually work?
Yes on dirt and scuffs, no on yellowing that's in the material itself. It lifts grime, mud, and scuff marks so shoes look white again. Rubber soles yellowed by age and sun, or fabric that has aged, have changed color themselves, and no cleaner reverses that.
Product usage questions
Can I use it on leather sneakers?
Yes. Go lighter with the brush on smooth leather, and follow with a leather conditioner once dry to keep the finish.
How do I get scuffs off the midsole?
Pump foam right onto the scuff, wait 1–2 minutes, scrub back and forth with the brush, and wipe. Repeat for stubborn marks, or follow with a scuff eraser.
Can I use it on suede or nubuck?
No. Suede and nubuck stiffen and discolor when wet. Use a suede cleaner and a suede brush.
How soon can I wear them?
After wiping, give them 1–2 hours somewhere shaded with good airflow. If the canvas got wet, wait until it's fully dry, and skip direct sun or a hot hair dryer.
What about the laces?
Take them out, work in a little foam, and rinse. For badly yellowed laces, soak them in warm water with oxygen bleach powder.
Can I use it on canvas sneakers?
Yes. Scrub canvas whites, rinse, and stuff with paper to dry in the shade so they don't yellow.
How often should I clean white shoes?
Whenever they're dirty; every 1–2 weeks for daily pairs, and wipe sole scuffs anytime.
How do I use a white shoe cleaner?
Brush off loose dirt, work the foam in with the brush top, then wipe clean with a damp cloth and air-dry in the shade. Don't soak the shoes; that's what causes warping and yellow tide marks. For midsole scuffs, let the foam sit on the mark for a minute or two before scrubbing.
How do I keep white shoes clean longer?
Wipe scuffs as soon as they happen and give them a quick foam clean every week or two. Fresh marks come off fast; ground-in dirt takes real scrubbing. Dry them in the shade with paper stuffed inside, and store them out of direct sun, which yellows rubber over time.
OEM/ODM customization questions
What can we customize?
Formula direction, scent, fill size (150 mL and 300 mL foaming bottles, and more), brush head, label design and language, and bundles with wipes, a scuff eraser, or a storage pouch.
How should we test samples?
Take worn pairs of white canvas, mesh, and leather sneakers, clean one shoe of each pair, and record scrub time, how much dirt comes off, any yellow marks after drying, and any warping. That tells you more than a before-and-after photo.
What paperwork comes with a private-label order?
Documents such as SDS/MSDS, TDS, COA, and label copy for your target market are prepared per project. We confirm which ones your order includes when we quote.
