Sport & Outdoor Gear Cleaning Solution

Sport gear gets dirty in different ways. Yoga mats and gym equipment carry sweat and skin oil, table tennis rubbers pick up dust and powder, fishing gear brings home salt and fish slime, tents and rain jackets collect mud and lose water repellency, and wetsuits hold salt, chlorine and odor. We match six CleenU products to the gear and the soil, and build private-label lines for sport, outdoor and dive brands, gym buyers and cross-border sellers through OEM/ODM.

Mats, Rubbers, Tackle, Tents and Wetsuits Are Cleaned by Gear

Use Yoga Mat Cleaner after practice: 4–6 mists, wipe with microfiber and dry flat 5–10 minutes before rolling. Use Gym Equipment Cleaner on a cloth for rails, grips and pads, never sprayed on treadmill screens or motors. Wipe table tennis rubbers center to edge with the foam cleaner. For fishing gear, rinse with fresh water first, then spray and brush, and never submerge a reel. Tents, rain jackets and packs take the two-in-one cleaner and repellent: wet, brush, rinse, then a second even coat while damp. Neoprene wetsuits soak 5–10 minutes at 1:50 in fresh water and dry inside out in the shade. Use each product only on its own gear and test an inconspicuous spot first.

  • Gear: Yoga mats, gym equipment, table tennis rubbers, fishing gear, tents and jackets, and wetsuits, chosen by gear.
  • How It Works: Gentle cleaners lift sweat and skin oil, powder, salt and mud; the tent product restores a water-repellent coat after cleaning.
  • How to Use: Spray and wipe mats and machines; foam rubbers lightly; rinse fishing gear with fresh water before spraying and brushing; soak wetsuits at 1:50.
  • Parts Not to Spray: Treadmill screens and motors, reel bearings and drags, down fill and wooden blade surfaces.
  • Finishing: Dry mats 5–10 minutes before rolling, and dry tents and wetsuits completely in the shade before storage.

Where to Use It

Mats & Gym Equipment

Spray and wipe the mat after practice; mist a cloth for rails, grips and pads, which dry in seconds.

Rubbers & Fishing Gear

Wipe the table tennis rubber with light foam; rinse reels and rods in fresh water, then spray and brush guides and seams.

Tents & Jackets

Wet, brush lightly and rinse, then spray a second coat while damp to restore surface water repellency.

Dive Gear

Neoprene wetsuits, boots, gloves and BCD exteriors soak at 1:50 in fresh water and dry in the shade.

Spot-test natural stone, coated, and wood surfaces in a hidden area first.

When Not to Use It

  • Treadmill screens and motors, and the inside of reel bearings and drags: do not spray the product onto these parts; mist a cloth and wipe instead.
  • Genuine leather pads, down fill and fishing line: leather pads need a leather care product, down fill should not be sprayed directly, and line needs a line conditioner.
  • Blade wood, glue edges and aged rubber that has lost its bounce: keep foam off the wood and never use alcohol or solvents.
  • Situations that require disinfection: the gym cleaner is not a replacement for a disinfection protocol.

Compare the Options

The six gear types compared by product, pH, method and limits: mats at pH 6.0–7.5 sprayed and wiped, gym equipment at pH 6.5–8.0 misted on a cloth, table tennis rubbers at pH 6.5–7.5 with light foam, fishing gear at pH 7.0–8.5 after a fresh-water rinse, tents at pH 6.5–8.0 as clean-then-repel, and wetsuits at pH 6.5–7.5 soaked at 1:50. Apart from wetsuits, nothing is soaked; the rest are wiped or sprayed and brushed.

How to Use It

  1. Check Materials and Parts

Confirm there are no screens, motors, bearings, down fill or wooden blades that must not be sprayed directly.

  2. Pick by Gear

Use the product made for mats, machines, rubbers, tackle, tents or wetsuits; do not borrow.

  3. Test a Small Spot

On first use, test an inconspicuous spot, and PU mat tops in a corner, before continuing.

  4. Dry Before Storing

Dry mats before rolling and dry tents and wetsuits completely in the shade to avoid mildew and aging.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about how to use it, which surfaces are safe, and private-label orders.

Use & Cleaning

Should I clean a yoga mat after every session?

A wipe after each session is a good habit: mist 4–6 times, wipe with microfiber and dry flat 5–10 minutes before rolling, so sweat and skin oil do not build up. Do not roll it right after spraying, and do not soak the mat.

How do I wipe gym equipment without leaving a tacky feel?

Mist Gym Equipment Cleaner on a microfiber cloth and wipe the contact surfaces; it dries in seconds without tackiness. Pads and grips can be wiped after every use, but never spray treadmill screens or motors directly.

How should I clean fishing gear after a saltwater trip?

Rinse lightly with fresh water, spray Fishing Gear Cleaner, brush guides and reel seams with a soft brush, dry thoroughly and oil moving parts as directed. Never submerge the reel or spray into bearings and drags.

Surfaces & Safety

Can I use Yoga Mat Cleaner on a natural rubber mat?

Yes, it is made for PVC, TPE, natural rubber and PU mats. Keep natural rubber out of long direct sun, test PU tops in a corner and let the mat dry flat before rolling.

Does a tent need re-proofing after cleaning?

Tent & Outdoor Gear Cleaner is a two-in-one: after cleaning and rinsing, spray a second even coat while the fabric is damp and air-dry to restore surface water repellency. Fabrics with a damaged membrane need repair first.

Can I wash a wetsuit with regular detergent?

We do not recommend it. Regular detergent and fabric softener are not suited to neoprene; use Dive Gear Cleaner at 1:50 in fresh water for 5–10 minutes, and avoid hot water, spin cycles and direct sun.

Private Label & Sourcing

What should I prepare before inquiring about private-label sport-gear cleaner?

Settle four things: which gear you clean, ready-to-use spray or concentrate, volume and accessories such as sponge, brush or kit, and the target market and label language. We then arrange free samples, usually ready in 3–5 days.

Can gyms and dive shops buy in bulk?

Yes. We can customize 3.78 L refills, 500 mL and 1 L concentrate bottles and channel carton sizes, and SDS, TDS and COA are available on request.

What are the MOQ and lead time?

Standard projects start at 500 bottles, free samples are usually ready in 3–5 days, and production is scheduled after packaging and labels are approved.

Launching a Sport-Gear Cleaner? Start with Free Samples

Sport and outdoor gear cleaning comes down to choosing by gear: wipe sweat off mats and machines, foam the table tennis rubber lightly, rinse fishing gear in fresh water before brushing, re-proof tents and jackets after cleaning, soak wetsuits diluted in fresh water and dry them in the shade, and never spray screens, motors, bearings or down fill directly. If you run a sport, outdoor or dive brand and want a private-label cleaner, CleenU can start from these six formulas, with free samples first and 500 bottles as the minimum order.
