CleenU product solution
Car Glass Anti-Fog
Hydrophilic anti-fog film · Clear in cold and rain · Private label
Windshield fogs up instantly on cold mornings and you're wiping as you drive in the rain? Clean the inside of the glass, wipe on a thin coat, and buff clear after a minute; moisture spreads into a clear sheet instead of fog. Factory-direct private label.
- Fog is cabin moisture condensing into countless tiny droplets on cold glass that scatter light; cold mornings and rainy days, with big temperature differences, are the worst. This treatment leaves a hydrophilic film on the inside of the glass so moisture spreads into a clear sheet instead, and you can see.
- Fog forms on the inside. The outside needs a hydrophobic rain repellent, which works the opposite way, so don't mix them up. Clean the inside of the glass before applying; rainbow streaks mean too much product, so buff again. Follow the manufacturer's care guide for visors with factory anti-fog coatings.

Before & after
Before and after (illustration)
Before: on cold mornings the inside of the windshield fogs as soon as you get in, and the defroster takes minutes. After: cleaned, coated thinly, and buffed, the next morning the glass barely fogs and visibility is clear.
- Before: instant fog, long defrost
- Cleaned, coated thin, buffed
- Next morning: barely any fog

How it works
How anti-fog works
On low-energy glass, water vapor condenses as tiny droplets with a high contact angle that scatter light into fog. Hydrophilic surfactants and film formers leave a thin film that sharply lowers water's contact angle, so condensation spreads instantly into a continuous clear sheet that light passes straight through.
- Clean interior glass
- A little on a dry cloth
- Spread evenly
- Film lowers contact angle
- Buff clear after a minute

Usage guidance
Use guidance
- Clean and dry the inside of the glass.
- Spray a little onto a dry cloth and spread it evenly on the glass.
- Wait a minute and buff clear with a second dry cloth; reapply after cleaning the glass.

Where Car Glass Anti-Fog stands out
Why windows fog
Fog is cabin moisture condensing into countless tiny droplets on cold glass that scatter light; cold mornings and rainy days, with big temperature differences, are the worst. This treatment leaves a hydrophilic film on the inside of the glass so moisture spreads into a clear sheet instead, and you can see.
Inside only, the opposite of a rain repellent
Fog forms on the inside. The outside needs a hydrophobic rain repellent, which works the opposite way, so don't mix them up. Clean the inside of the glass before applying; rainbow streaks mean too much product, so buff again. Follow the manufacturer's care guide for visors with factory anti-fog coatings.

Product, use, and procurement
How long does it last?
Usually one to two weeks, depending on how often the glass is wiped and cabin humidity. Reapply after cleaning the inside of the glass.
Why interior only?
Fog forms on the inside. The outside needs a hydrophobic rain repellent, which works the opposite way.
How fast can we get samples and a first order?

Product usage questions
How do I use it?
Clean and dry the inside of the glass, spray a little onto a dry cloth, spread it evenly, wait a minute, and buff clear with a second dry cloth.
When shouldn't I use it?
Use it on interior glass only; follow the manufacturer's care guide for visors with factory anti-fog coatings; rainbow streaks mean too much product, so buff it out.
Can I use it on eyeglasses?
A little on both sides, buffed evenly; test specialty coated lenses first.
What if visibility looks hazy after applying?
Usually too much product; buff again with a clean dry cloth.
Can I use it with a glass rain repellent?
Yes: repellent outside, anti-fog inside, each on its own side.
Can I use it on a rear window with defroster lines?
Yes, use as directed. Wipe gently along the lines; don't scrub hard.
Can I use it on motorcycle visors?
Yes, on the inside; follow the maker's guidance for visors with anti-fog films.
Do I need it in summer too?
Winter and rainy season most, but strong AC can fog glass in summer too.
Does smoking in the car affect it?
Smoke leaves film on the glass, so clean first for best results.
Does cleaning the glass remove it?
Yes. Reapply after cleaning the inside with a glass cleaner.
Why does my windshield keep fogging up on the inside?
Warm, humid cabin air is hitting cold glass. Breath, wet coats, and damp floor mats add moisture, and a hazy film from smoke or interior plastics gives droplets more to cling to. Clean the inside of the glass, then apply CleenU Car Glass Anti-Fog so moisture spreads out instead of beading. Running the A/C with the defroster also dries the air.
Will it clear fog that's already on the glass?
No. It's meant to keep fog from forming, so apply it ahead of time. If the glass is already fogged, clear it with the defroster and A/C first. Once the glass is clean and dry, wipe on a light coat, wait about a minute, and buff it clear. Reapply after you clean the inside of the glass.
Can I use it on tinted windows?
Test a small corner first. Aftermarket tint films aren't all made the same way, and we haven't checked every brand. If the test spot buffs clear with no haze once it dries, do the rest of the window, using a soft cloth and light pressure near the film edges.
