CleenU product solution
Fabric & Curtain Odor Spray
Cyclodextrin + zinc ricinoleate · Neutralizes fabric odor · Private label
Curtains that smell like cooking, and a couch and mattress holding pet and sweat odors you can't wash every week? Mist lightly from 8–12 inches until just damp, open a window, and let it dry. Cyclodextrin and zinc ricinoleate trap odor instead of covering it. Factory-direct private label.
- Curtains, sofas, and mattresses have huge fiber surface area, so cooking, pet, sweat, and smoke molecules work their way in, and since they're hard to wash often, odor builds. This spray encloses odor molecules in cyclodextrin and captures sulfides and amines with zinc ricinoleate, so smells drop noticeably once the fabric dries, instead of just being perfumed over.
- This spray is for odor between washes. Urine, vomit, and similar sources need cleaning first. Skip silk, leather, and water-spotting fabrics, test others in a hidden spot and check for marks once dry, and ventilate until the fabric is dry before use.

Before & after
Before and after (illustration)
Before: fabric curtains beside an open kitchen with a clear cooking smell, and a cloth sofa that smells of the cat. After: misted until just damp from 8–12 inches and aired dry, the cooking and pet odors are clearly lighter, leaving a faint cotton scent.

- Misted damp, aired dry
- Odors clearly lighter

How it works
How odor molecules get trapped
Fabric odors are mostly aldehydes (cooking), amines and sulfides (pets, sweat), and smoke tar compounds. Cyclodextrin's hydrophobic cavity encloses these small molecules as stable complexes so they stop evaporating, zinc ricinoleate binds sulfur and nitrogen compounds through its zinc ion, and a mild surfactant spreads the actives evenly over the fibers.
- From 8–12 inches
- Mist until just damp
- Cyclodextrin encloses
- Zinc binds
- Air-dry with a window open

Where Fabric & Curtain Odor Spray stands out
Why fabric holds odor
Curtains, sofas, and mattresses have huge fiber surface area, so cooking, pet, sweat, and smoke molecules work their way in, and since they're hard to wash often, odor builds. This spray encloses odor molecules in cyclodextrin and captures sulfides and amines with zinc ricinoleate, so smells drop noticeably once the fabric dries, instead of just being perfumed over.
Freshening isn't washing
This spray is for odor between washes. Urine, vomit, and similar sources need cleaning first. Skip silk, leather, and water-spotting fabrics, test others in a hidden spot and check for marks once dry, and ventilate until the fabric is dry before use.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Find practical answers about Fabric & Curtain Odor Spray, private label, samples, MOQ, documents, and delivery.
Product, use, and procurement
How is this different from a fragrance spray?
Fragrance sprays cover odor with scent. This traps and binds odor molecules, and the scent is just a light finish; there's a fragrance-free version too.
Will it spot my curtains?
Not on typical cotton, linen, or polyester. Silk, chiffon, and velvet can water-spot, so test first.
How fast can we get samples and a first order?
Free samples ship in 3–5 days. MOQ is 500 bottles, and production is scheduled once packaging and labels are approved.
Product usage questions
How do I use it?
Mist fabric lightly from 8–12 inches until just damp and let it air-dry with the window open.
When shouldn't I use it?
Don't spray silk, leather, or fabrics that water-spot; test a hidden spot first.
Does it remove smoke odor?
It clearly reduces smoke smell in fabric; years of tar buildup also need washing.
Can I spray a mattress?
Yes. Mist lightly, air-dry with a window open, and let it dry fully before making the bed.
What should I keep in mind in homes with cats and dogs?
Let fabric dry fully before pets use it, never spray pets directly, and store the bottle out of their reach.
Can I use it on car seats?
Cloth seats, yes, then air-dry with the windows open; not leather.
Can I spray throws and rugs?
Yes. Mist until just damp and air-dry.
What should I keep in mind when using it in a nursery?
Use the unscented version, spray while baby is out, and let it dry before returning.
How often should I use it?
When odors appear, or weekly for upkeep.
Will it stiffen fabric?
Not with a light mist; heavy spraying can leave it stiff when dry.
How do I get body odor out of curtains?
Mist the curtains until just damp and let them air-dry with a window open. Body odor comes from sweat and skin oil breaking down in the fibers, and the spray traps and binds those odor molecules rather than covering them with scent. If the fabric is yellowed or the smell keeps coming back, wash it per the care label first, then use the spray for upkeep.
How do I get the chemical smell out of new curtains?
Air them out and wash them per the care label first, then finish with the spray. That new-fabric smell is mostly odor left over from manufacturing and packaging, so airing and washing do most of the work. Mist lightly from 8–12 inches, and test silk, chiffon, or velvet in a hidden spot.
Will it neutralize a lingering perfume smell in fabric?
Yes, it tones it down. Mist the fabric until just damp and let it air-dry with the window open; a heavily doused spot may need a wash first. If you don't want any added scent, choose the fragrance-free version.
