CleenU product solution
Hardwood & Laminate Floor Cleaner
Low-moisture · Fast-drying · Private label
Footprints and a dull haze on wood floors by the window, and worried about water in the seams? Mist the hardwood floor cleaner lightly on the floor or pad, mop with the grain, and it dries in 1–2 minutes with an even sheen and no whitening. Private label from 500 bottles.
- Laminate has a fiberboard core that swells when wet, and the seams of hardwood and engineered floors have no finish to protect them, so water soaks in, the wood swells, then shrinks as it dries. Repeat that a few times and edges cup and darken and the finish hazes. The rule for wood floors is less water: a cleaner that lifts soil with very little liquid and evaporates before moisture reaches the seams.
- The polyurethane or UV-cured finish is what protects the floor. Alkaline cleaners slowly dull it, and oil-soap products leave a waxy film that gets slicker and dustier with each mop. This neutral, low-residue formula removes the skin oil and dust in footprints while the finish keeps its original sheen and feel, not dull and not slippery.

Before & after
Before and after (use illustration)
Before: in window side light, the living-room floor shows a trail of footprints and dusty haze with uneven sheen. After: vacuumed, lightly misted, and mopped with the grain, it dries in 2 minutes with an even sheen and no footprints.
- Before: footprints and haze by the window, uneven sheen
- After: an even sheen with the prints gone
- Dry in 1–2 minutes with no water in the seams

How it works
How a Light Mist Lifts Footprints
Footprints on wood are skin oil and dust. Surfactants emulsify the oil and disperse the dust within a very thin film, microfiber’s strong capillary action pulls that small amount of liquid and soil into the pad, and a little fast-drying solvent shortens evaporation so the floor is dry in 1 to 2 minutes, before water can travel down the seams. The neutral pH doesn’t react with the finish, so its sheen is unaffected.
- Light mist wets
- Surfactants emulsify skin oil
- Microfiber absorbs
- Fast-drying solvent speeds evaporation
- No water in the seams

Usage guidance
Use guidance
- Vacuum or sweep first to remove grit that could scratch the finish.
- Mist about one square meter at a time, or spray the pad directly, never enough to puddle.
- Mop with a microfiber flat mop along the grain, changing pads as they soil; walk on it once dry in 1 to 2 minutes.

Where Hardwood & Laminate Floor Cleaner stands out
Wood Floors Fear Water More Than Dirt
Laminate has a fiberboard core that swells when wet, and the seams of hardwood and engineered floors have no finish to protect them, so water soaks in, the wood swells, then shrinks as it dries. Repeat that a few times and edges cup and darken and the finish hazes. The rule for wood floors is less water: a cleaner that lifts soil with very little liquid and evaporates before moisture reaches the seams.
Neutral on the Finish, Never Dull or Slick
The polyurethane or UV-cured finish is what protects the floor. Alkaline cleaners slowly dull it, and oil-soap products leave a waxy film that gets slicker and dustier with each mop. This neutral, low-residue formula removes the skin oil and dust in footprints while the finish keeps its original sheen and feel, not dull and not slippery.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Find practical answers about Hardwood & Laminate Floor Cleaner, private label, samples, MOQ, documents, and delivery.
How to use
Can I wet-mop laminate?
Keep water to a minimum. The fiberboard core swells if water reaches the seams; a low-moisture spray with a nearly dry mop is safest.
Why does my wood floor look cloudy after mopping?
Usually moisture in the finish or dried residue. Switch to a low-moisture neutral cleaner, use less, and dry any wet spots.
Can I use it on waxed or oiled floors?
No. Those floors need matching wax or oil care products; this cleaner can affect the wax layer.
Can I mop hardwood floors with dish soap?
Better not. Dish soap is hard to mop off fully, and the residue leaves wood floors cloudy and sticky, so they pick up footprints faster. Use a pH-neutral, low-moisture wood floor cleaner: spray a little, mop a section, and there's no need to rinse.
Surfaces and common questions
Can I use a steam mop?
Not recommended on wood or laminate; hot steam drives moisture into seams and the finish.
Will it make floors slippery?
No. There’s no wax or oil soap, so nothing is left behind and the floor feels like the original finish.
How often should I mop?
Once or twice a week, and spot-clean entries and kitchens as needed.
Why are there mop marks after cleaning?
Usually too much product or a dirty, wet pad. Mist lightly and make one pass with the grain using a clean, barely damp flat pad, flipping it when it gets dirty.
Can it remove black scuff marks?
Most of them. Spray a microfiber cloth and rub the scuff lightly back and forth; reapply for stubborn marks. Don’t scrape with anything hard.
Can I put it in my robot mop?
Don’t pour it into the tank—its foam and viscosity aren’t designed for robots. Use a dedicated robot mop cleaning solution.
What should you not use on hardwood floors?
Skip vinegar and ammonia cleaners, which dull the finish over time; wax- or oil-soap-based products, which build a film that makes floors hazy; and steam mops or lots of water, which seep into the seams and make boards cup. Choose a pH-neutral wood floor cleaner without wax or oil soap.
How do I clean dog urine off a hardwood floor?
Fast. Blot the urine with thick paper towels, then spray and wipe the spot clean, drying the seams nearby. Treat any lingering odor with a pet odor product sprayed onto a cloth, not into the gaps. If the wood has turned dark, the urine has soaked into the board; surface cleaning won't fix it, and it needs sanding or replacement.
Buying and private label
What should we decide first for a private-label laminate & wood floor cleaner?
Three things: bottle-plus-flat-mop kit or bottle only; woody, citrus, or unscented; and whether to add a concentrate refill. Wood floor cleaner is a mature category in the West; low moisture, no wax, and no film are the main claims.
What are the sample, MOQ, and lead-time terms?
Free samples are usually ready in 3–5 days. Standard MOQ is 500 bottles, and bulk orders are scheduled after packaging and labels are approved.
What can be customized?
All of it: formula direction, scent, fill size (500 mL spray, 1 L refill, and more), mist or foam trigger, label design and language, and ecommerce bundles with a flat mop and pads.
Can we test samples first?
Yes, we ship samples first. Test them on laminate and engineered wood panels with footprints like the ones your customers handle, and record footprint removal, drying time, and effect on finish sheen and seams. That tells you more than a before-and-after photo.
Which documents can you provide?
We provide SDS/MSDS, a TDS, and batch COAs, plus bilingual label content for your target market. They aren’t posted publicly; we send them per project on inquiry.
How is private-label pricing quoted?
Pricing is tiered by packaging, trigger or cap, label, and order quantity, starting at the 500-bottle MOQ. Send your target quantity, fill size, and packaging needs, and we’ll quote unit prices by volume tier with sample and lead-time details.
Launching your own Laminate & Wood Floor Cleaner?
Send us your market, kit format, scent, and estimated volume. We will work through formula and mop kit with you.
