CleenU product solution
Leather Shoe Care
Cleans, conditions, and touches up color · Three shades · Private label
Leather shoes looking dry and dull, with little scuffs on the toe? Brush off dust, dab a little cream on the sponge, spread it thin, wait 3–5 minutes, and buff with a soft cloth or horsehair brush. Cleans, conditions, and touches up color in one step. Neutral, black, and brown. Factory-direct private label.
- Leather holds natural oils that keep it supple and shiny, and sun, rain, dust, and constant flexing slowly draw them out, leaving it dry, gray, and prone to cracking at the creases, with scuffs on the toe. This cream cleans with mild surfactants, replaces oils with beeswax, lanolin, and plant oils, and in tinted versions fills color into scuffs, buffing to a natural shine.
- This cream is for smooth leather only. Oils flatten and darken the nap of suede and nubuck, and patent leather is a coating that doesn't absorb them. Test tinted versions inside the tongue to check the match, and use neutral on light shoes. Apply thin, since too much turns sticky and collects dust, and let it sit before buffing for an even shine.

Before & after
Before and after (illustration)
Before: black oxfords worn six months, dry and grayish, with a few small scuffs on the toe and creased vamps. After: dust brushed off, a thin coat of black cream, 5 minutes to set, and a horsehair buff, the leather shines and the scuffs are barely visible.
- Before: dull leather, toe scuffs
- Brushed, thin black coat, 5 minutes, buffed
- Shiny, scuffs barely visible

How it works
How cleaning, conditioning, and shine happen together
The cream is an oil-in-water emulsion: mild surfactants emulsify dust and grime onto the sponge, lanolin and plant oils penetrate between leather fibers to replace lost oils and restore suppleness, beeswax stays on the surface and is buffed into a thin, light-reflecting layer, and tinted versions carry dispersed pigment that fills color into scuffs.
- Brush off dust
- A little on the sponge
- Spread thin
- Wait 3–5 minutes

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Find practical answers about Leather Shoe Care, private label, samples, MOQ, documents, and delivery.
Product, use, and procurement
How is shoe cream different from shoe polish?
Traditional polish is wax-heavy, very glossy, and builds up and cakes. Shoe cream cleans and conditions better, spreads easily, and gives a natural shine.
How often should I treat leather shoes?
Every one to two weeks for shoes you wear often, and once before storing them with shoe trees.
How fast can we get samples and a first order?
Free samples ship in 3–5 days. MOQ is 500 bottles, and production is scheduled once packaging and labels are approved.
Product usage questions
How do I use it?
Brush off dust, apply a little with the sponge, wait 3–5 minutes, and buff with a soft cloth or horsehair brush.
When shouldn't I use it?
Not for suede, nubuck, or patent leather; test tinted versions on the tongue or another hidden spot first.
Can I use it on leather bags?
Neutral on smooth leather bags, tested inside first; take luxury bags to a professional.
How often should I condition?
Every 1–2 weeks for shoes you wear often; after rain, dry first.
What about shoes soaked in rain?
Stuff with paper, dry naturally in the shade, then condition once fully dry.
Can I use it on white leather?
Use the neutral version and test a hidden spot first; clean yellowed spots, then apply a thin coat.
Should I condition new shoes first?
Yes. A thin coat of neutral before wearing adds protection.
Can it remove salt stains on boots?
Wipe salt off with a damp cloth first, then condition once dry.
What if I applied too much?
Buff more with a clean soft cloth to remove the excess.
How long does a bottle last?
Very little is needed per pair, so 100 mL lasts months.
Can I wash leather shoes in water?
No—don't soak smooth leather shoes or put them in the washer. Brush off dust, wipe marks with a damp cloth, and let the shoes dry naturally in the shade. Once they're fully dry, apply a thin coat of CleenU Leather Shoe Care and buff.
How long should the cream sit before I buff?
About 3 to 5 minutes. That gives the cream time to work into the leather, so buffing with a soft cloth or horsehair brush brings up an even, natural shine. If you applied too much, keep buffing with a clean soft cloth to lift the excess.
Can I use it on leather sneakers?
Yes, on smooth leather panels. Brush off dirt first, apply a little with the sponge, let it sit 3 to 5 minutes, and buff. Keep it off suede or nubuck trim, and test tinted versions on the tongue first.
