How it works
How the coating forms
Modified SiO2 resin is dispersed in a solvent carrier. After spraying, the solvent evaporates and siloxane groups hydrolyze and condense with the paint and ambient moisture, crosslinking into a hard 3D network; silicone components lower surface energy so the water contact angle rises and water beads off. Keeping it dry during cure lets the network fully form.
