CleenU product solution
Iron Fallout & Brake Dust Remover
Turns purple on iron · No claying needed · Private label
Paint still gritty after a wash, and tiny orange specks on a white car? In shade, spray clean paint or cool wheels, wait 3–5 minutes for the purple reaction, and pressure-rinse the iron away. Factory-direct private label.
- Brake pad dust and rail or construction fallout embed in warm paint and rust, leaving tiny orange specks on white cars and a gritty feel. A wash won't remove them, and clay bars take care. This remover reacts with the iron particles, turning them into a purple soluble complex that rinses away, no claying needed.
- The purple is the active reacting with iron; more purple means more fallout, and rinsing takes it away. Do it every three to six months or before waxing or coating. It has the characteristic odor of iron removers, so use it with ventilation, avoid direct sun and hot surfaces, and don't exceed the dwell time.

Before & after
Before and after (illustration)
Before: a white SUV with fine orange-brown specks across the rear bumper and lower doors, rough to the touch after washing. After: sprayed in shade, purple after 4 minutes, and pressure-rinsed, the specks are essentially gone and the paint feels smooth.
- Before: orange specks, rough paint
- Purple reaction after 4 minutes
- Rinsed: specks gone, smooth paint

How it works
How iron fallout dissolves
Embedded fallout is metallic iron and iron oxide particles. A thioglycolate chelator forms a purple-red soluble complex with iron ions, gradually dissolving the particles off the paint; surfactants help it penetrate and rinse, and a thickener holds it on vertical panels. The neutral pH is safe on paint and chrome, and pressure rinsing removes the complex.
- Clean paint or cool wheels
- Spray on
- Chelator reacts, turns purple
- Wait 3–5 minutes (don't let it dry)
- Pressure-rinse

Usage guidance

Product, use, and procurement
Why does it turn purple?
That's the active ingredient reacting with iron. More purple means more iron, and rinsing carries it away.
How often should I use it?
Every three to six months, or before waxing or coating so the paint starts clean and smooth.
How fast can we get samples and a first order?
Free samples ship in 3–5 days. MOQ is 500 bottles, and production is scheduled once packaging and labels are approved.
Product usage questions
How do I use it?
In shade, spray clean paint or cool wheels, wait 3–5 minutes for the purple reaction without letting it dry, and rinse with high pressure; use a soft brush on stubborn spots.
When shouldn't I use it?
Don't use it in direct sun or on hot surfaces, don't exceed the dwell time, and keep it off fresh coatings that haven't cured.
Do dark cars get iron fallout too?
Yes, it's just harder to see. Rough paint and grabby wax application are signs.
Can I use it on glass?
Yes, it dissolves iron on glass too; rinse and polish with glass cleaner afterward.
What if it doesn't turn purple?
There's little iron on the surface; just rinse, no need to wait longer.
Should I wax afterward?
Yes. Freshly decontaminated paint is the ideal time to wax or coat.
Is the smell normal?
Yes. The reaction gives off a mild sulfur smell that clears once rinsed.
Can I use it on wheels?
Yes. Brake dust on wheels turns purple too; rinse it off.
Can I use it in direct sun?
Not recommended; work in shade on cool paint so it doesn't dry on.
Does a new car need decontamination?
New cars pick up iron in transport too, so do it before coating.
