CleenU product solution
Pressure Washer Detergent
Apply on low · Rinse on high · Private label
Pressure washing alone won't move black film on siding or oil on the driveway? Add it to the detergent tank at 1:10–1:20, apply on low from the bottom up, wait 5–10 minutes, and rinse on high from the top down. Factory-direct private label.
- High pressure blasts off loose dirt but not black film on siding, oil on driveways, or mildew on patios, and cranking up the PSI only etches the surface. This detergent goes on at low pressure first: alkaline builders saponify oil, and surfactants and chelators loosen grime and mildew. After a short dwell, a rinse clears it without maxing out pressure.
- Applying bottom up keeps cleaner from running down dry siding and leaving streaks; rinsing top down keeps dirty runoff off the areas you've cleaned. Wet nearby plants before you start and again as you rinse. It's fairly alkaline, so keep it off car paint, and dilute to 1:20 with short dwell on aluminum.

Before & after
Before and after (illustration)
Before: north-facing vinyl siding with a gray-black film and scattered mildew on the lower half. After: applied at 1:15 on low from the bottom up, left 8 minutes, and rinsed on high from the top down, the siding is light again with no streaks.
- Before: gray-black film and mildew
- Applied on low, 8 minutes, rinsed on high
- Light siding, no streaks

How it works
How outdoor grime gets loosened
Exterior grime is a film of dust, cooking smoke, tire rubber, algae, and mildew. Alkaline builders saponify oils and help break the grip of algae and mildew, nonionic surfactants emulsify and disperse soil, and chelators bind hard-water minerals for better performance. Dwell time lets the chemistry penetrate, and high-pressure water carries the loosened grime away.
- Dilute into the detergent tank
- Apply on low, bottom up
- Saponifies, loosens mildew
- Wait 5–10 minutes
- Rinse on high, top down

Usage guidance

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Find practical answers about Pressure Washer Detergent, private label, samples, MOQ, documents, and delivery.
Product, use, and procurement
Why use a pressure washer detergent?
High-pressure water blasts off loose dirt, but grease, mildew, and the black film that builds up on siding and concrete need a cleaner to loosen them first. Household cleaners foam too much, run at the wrong strength, and can clog the injector. This one is built for pressure washer draw ratios: apply on low pressure, rinse on high.
Can I use it on my car?
It's fairly alkaline and made for siding, patios, driveways, and outdoor furniture. Use a pH-neutral car wash soap on vehicles to protect paint and coatings.
Can I use it on wood decks?
Yes, at a weaker 1:20 dilution with low pressure, rinsing with the grain so high pressure doesn't fuzz the wood.
What should we decide first for a private-label pressure washer detergent?
Scope, size, and labeling. All-purpose or task-specific (siding, driveway, deck), gallon concentrate or small ready-to-use bottles, and printing dilution ratios for common injector and foam-cannon setups, which cuts down support questions a lot.
How fast can we get samples and a first order?
Free samples ship in 3–5 days. MOQ is 500 bottles, and production is scheduled once packaging and labels are approved.
Do I really need detergent in a pressure washer?
For loose dirt, no; for grease, mildew, and the black film on siding and concrete, yes. Pressure knocks off what's sitting on the surface, but stuck-on grime needs a cleaner to loosen it during the dwell time. With detergent doing that work, the rinse goes faster.
Can I use laundry detergent or dish soap in a pressure washer?
No. Household detergents foam too much, run at the wrong strength, and can clog the injector. CleenU Pressure Washer Detergent is built for pressure washer draw ratios, so it goes on at low pressure and rinses off at high pressure.
Product usage questions
How do I use it?
Pour it into the washer's detergent tank or foam cannon at 1:10–1:20 (per your machine), apply with the low-pressure tip from the bottom up, let it dwell 5–10 minutes without drying, then switch to a high-pressure tip and rinse from the top down.
Why apply bottom-up and rinse top-down?
Bottom-up keeps cleaner from running down dry siding and leaving streaks; top-down keeps dirty runoff off the areas you've already rinsed.
Will it hurt my plants?
Wet nearby plants with plain water before you start and again when you rinse, and keep concentrate off them.
Can I use it on aluminum windows and awnings?
Yes, at 1:20 with no more than 5 minutes of dwell, then rinse thoroughly.
How do I add it to a pressure washer?
Fill the detergent tank or use a foam cannon at the recommended ratio.
Can it clean oil stains on garage floors?
Yes. Apply, let it sit a few minutes, then pressure-rinse.
What about runoff?
Use at the recommended dilution and direct runoff to the sanitary sewer where possible.
Do I need to dilute it, and how do I mix it?
Yes. Mix it 1:10–1:20 in the detergent tank or foam cannon, following your machine's instructions, and use the weaker 1:20 on wood decks and aluminum windows or awnings. Apply with the low-pressure tip, let it dwell 5–10 minutes without drying, then rinse with a high-pressure tip.
OEM/ODM customization questions
What can we customize?
Formula direction (siding, driveway, deck, and more), strength, foam level, scent, fill size (1-gallon concentrate, 2.5-gallon jug, and more), label design and language, and kits.
How should we test samples?
Test sections of darkened siding, oil-stained driveway, and gray decking, and record dilution, dwell time, color recovery after rinsing, and any streaking. That tells you more than a before-and-after photo.
What paperwork comes with a private-label order?
Documents such as SDS/MSDS, TDS, COA, and label copy for your target market are prepared per project. We confirm which ones your order includes when we quote.
