Stone Oil Stain Remover
Draws out oil · Marble-safe · Private label
A dark oil stain on a marble counter where the bottle always sat? Spray fresh stains and blot after 15 minutes; for old ones, apply a 5 mm poultice, cover 24 hours, and scrape off—the stain lightens and the polish stays. Private label from 500 bottles.
- Natural stone is porous, so oil wicks several millimeters in; the surface dries but the dark patch stays and slowly spreads. Scrubbing only reaches the surface. The right approach is to redissolve the oil in the pores with solvent, then absorb that oily liquid so capillary action pulls it outward, lightening the stain step by step.
- Marble and limestone etch in acid, and strong alkaline degreasers dull polish. This neutral solvent system dissolves oil without reacting with calcium carbonate, so the polish is untouched. Fresh stains need only a spray and blot; old stains get a 24-hour poultice that slowly draws oil out, repeated if needed.

Before & after
Before and after (use illustration)
Before: a palm-sized dark oil stain from a cooking-oil bottle sits on white marble. After: two 24-hour poultices lighten it to near the surrounding color, with the polish intact.
- Before: a dark, palm-sized oil stain on white marble
- After: two poultices later, it’s much lighter and close to the surrounding stone
- Neutral solvent system—the polish stays intact

How it works
How Oil Leaves the Stone
Oil in stone is triglyceride or mineral oil. The poultice solvent enters the pores and redissolves it into a thin solution; fine pores between absorbent particles such as diatomaceous earth or kaolin create strong capillary pull that draws it outward; the plastic cover slows evaporation so the draw continues; and when the solvent finally evaporates, the oil stays in the poultice to be scraped away. The neutral system doesn’t react with calcium carbonate.
- Solvent enters pores and dissolves oil
- Absorbent draws it out by capillarity
- Solvent evaporates, leaving oil in the poultice
- Scrape off

Neutral Solvents, Safe on Marble

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Find practical answers about Stone Oil Stain Remover, private label, samples, MOQ, documents, and delivery.
How to use
How do I remove an oil stain from marble?
Fresh: spray, wait 15 minutes, and blot. Old: a 24-hour poultice, usually 1 to 3 rounds.
Will it damage marble?
No; the neutral, acid-free solvent system won’t etch or dull it. Test a hidden spot first.
What absorbent should I use?
Diatomaceous earth, kaolin, or white absorbent powder; layered plain white paper towels also work.
Surfaces and common questions
Does it work on garage concrete?
Yes, for individual old spots; for large areas, the driveway cleaner is more economical.
Will it remove rust?
No; rust is iron oxide, so use the Stone Rust Stain Remover.
Should I reseal afterward?
On sealed stone, reapply sealer as needed to reduce future soaking.
The stain is still there after 24 hours.
If it’s clearly lighter, oil is being drawn out—mix a fresh poultice and repeat. Old stains often take two or three rounds. Let the stone dry a day after each before judging.
Can I use it on granite?
Yes. Granite is less porous than marble, so spraying and blotting fresh stains is usually enough. Check dark granite in side light after it dries.
How do I keep the counter from absorbing oil again?
After cleaning and drying, apply a penetrating stone sealer so oil and water sit on the surface. Keep oil and condiment bottles on a tray.
Why do oil stains soak into stone and stay dark?
Stone is porous, so oil wicks into the pores and stays there after the surface looks dry, which is why wiping doesn't help. CleenU Stone Oil Stain Remover uses solvents to loosen that oil. Spray fresh stains and blot after 15 minutes; for set-in stains, apply a poultice, cover it, and lift it after 24 hours so the absorbent draws the oil out.
Buying and private label
What should we decide first for a private-label stone oil stain remover?
Three things: spray alone or a poultice kit with powder, channel (stone care, home improvement, or household), and your market’s VOC and labeling rules for solvent products.
What are the sample, MOQ, and lead-time terms?
Free samples are usually ready in 3–5 days. Standard MOQ is 500 bottles, and bulk orders are scheduled after packaging and labels are approved.
What can be customized?
All of it: formula direction, scent, fill size (500 mL spray, 1 L refill, and more), mist or foam trigger, label design and language, and ecommerce bundles with absorbent powder and a scraper.
Can we test samples first?
Yes, we ship samples first. Test them on marble and granite samples with soaked-in cooking and motor oil like the ones your customers handle, and record fading of new and old oil stains and effect on marble gloss and color. That tells you more than a before-and-after photo.
Which documents can you provide?
We provide SDS/MSDS, a TDS, and batch COAs, plus bilingual label content for your target market. They aren’t posted publicly; we send them per project on inquiry.
How is private-label pricing quoted?
Pricing is tiered by packaging, trigger or cap, label, and order quantity, starting at the 500-bottle MOQ. Send your target quantity, fill size, and packaging needs, and we’ll quote unit prices by volume tier with sample and lead-time details.
