CleenU product solution
Tire Shine
Water-based, no sling · Satin to gloss · Private label
Brown, faded sidewalls making the car look tired? After washing and drying, spray the sidewalls, spread with a foam applicator, and let it dry 5–10 minutes; one coat satin, two gloss, no sling or dust. Factory-direct private label.
- Antiozonants in rubber migrate to the surface over time, and UV and ozone turn the sidewalls brown and chalky. Tire Shine lays a water-based silicone dressing on the sidewall to bring back a deep black, with UV inhibitors to slow the browning.
- Solvent dressings are glossy but sling onto paint and can be harsh on rubber. This water-based emulsion dries fast, doesn't sling, and doesn't attract dust once dry. One coat gives a natural satin, and a second coat once dry goes glossy. Satin leads in the U.S., and brands can tune gloss for their market.

Before & after
Before and after (illustration)
Before: an SUV's sidewalls are brown and chalky and look out of place next to the freshly washed paint. After: dried, sprayed, and spread with an applicator, the tires dry to a deep black satin, with no sling on the body after driving.

- After one coat: deep black satin
- No sling on the body after driving

How it works
How tires get their black back
Browning is antiozonant bloom on the surface oxidized by ozone and UV into a brownish film. The water-based silicone emulsion wets the rubber, the droplets break and spread into a continuous film that evens out micro-roughness and restores depth and gloss, UV inhibitors stay in the film to slow oxidation, and once the water evaporates the film isn't tacky and won't sling.
- Wash and dry tires
- Spray the sidewall
- Spread with applicator
- Emulsion forms a film
- Dry 5–10 minutes before driving

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Find practical answers about Tire Shine, private label, samples, MOQ, documents, and delivery.
Product, use, and procurement
Why do tires turn brown or gray?
Antiozonants in the rubber migrate to the surface over time, and UV and ozone do the rest, so sidewalls go brown and chalky. Tire shine lays down a dressing that brings back a deep black.
Water-based or solvent tire shine?
Solvent dressings are glossy but sling onto paint and can be harsh on rubber. This is a water-based silicone emulsion that doesn't sling or attract dust once dry. One coat gives a satin finish, two coats go glossy, so you choose.
How long does it last?
Usually one to two weeks, less with rain and frequent washes. Reapplying after every wash is the easy routine.
What should we decide first for a private-label tire shine?
Finish, applicator, and kit. Matte, satin, or high gloss (satin leads in the U.S.), trigger spray or applicator pad, and whether to pair it with a wheel cleaner as a tire-and-wheel kit.
How fast can we get samples and a first order?
Free samples ship in 3–5 days. MOQ is 500 bottles, and production is scheduled once packaging and labels are approved.
Product usage questions
Can I spray the tread?
No. Dressing on the tread makes it slick and hurts grip. Sidewalls only, and keep it off motorcycle and bike tread too.
How do I get the best look?
Clean and dry the tire, spray the sidewall, spread it with a foam applicator, and let it dry 5–10 minutes before driving so it doesn't sling.
What if it gets on brakes or pedals?
Wipe it off immediately; it can make them slippery.
Can I use it on plastic trim?
A little on exterior black trim is fine, but a dedicated trim restorer lasts longer.
How soon can I drive after applying?
Wait 10–15 minutes until dry so it doesn't sling onto the paint.
Will rain wash it off?
Water-based dressing fades in rain; choose the solvent version for more durability.
What if I get it on the paint?
Wipe it off with a damp cloth before it dries.
Is tire shine bad for tires? Can it cause dry rot?
Not when it stays on the sidewall. This one is a water-based silicone emulsion, which is gentler on rubber than solvent dressings, and it works as a cosmetic layer. It won't cause dry rot, and it won't fix it either. If you see cracks in the sidewall, have the tire inspected; shine only changes how it looks.
Can I use tire shine on my rims?
No, keep it on the rubber sidewall. Dressing on a wheel face leaves a greasy film that holds dust, and overspray near the brakes can make them slippery. Spray onto a foam applicator instead of the tire, and wipe any overspray off the wheel with a damp cloth before it dries.
Can I use tire shine on my dashboard?
No. It's made for exterior rubber, and a glossy, slick dash causes windshield glare and leaves a film your hands slide on. Use an interior cleaner or protectant made for dashboards instead.
OEM/ODM customization questions
What can we customize?
Finish level, scent, fill size (500 mL spray, 1-gallon jug, and more), trigger or foam applicator, label design and language, and kits with a wheel cleaner.
How should we test samples?
Do one side of the same car, and record drying time, sling onto paint after driving, gloss level, and how many days it lasts. That tells you more than a before-and-after photo.
What paperwork comes with a private-label order?
Documents such as SDS/MSDS, TDS, COA, and label copy for your target market are prepared per project. We confirm which ones your order includes when we quote.
