CleenU product solution
Water Dispenser & Purifier Cleaner
Food-grade citric acid · Dissolves scale · Private label
White crust on the spout, scale in the hot tank, and a slick feel at the bottle seat? Dilute 1:20, run or soak 15–20 minutes, drain, and flush with clean water 2–3 times. Scale lets go and water tastes clean again. Factory-direct private label.
- Calcium and magnesium drop out of heated water as white scale in the hot tank and lines and a crust around the spout, while damp reservoirs and bottle seats grow a slick biofilm. This cleaner turns scale into soluble citrates with food-grade citric acid, lifts the film with low-foam surfactants, and flushes out in a few clean-water cycles.
- Purifier filters and RO membranes have their own flush and replacement schedule, so don't soak them in cleaner; this is for reservoirs, hot tanks, lines, and spouts. Flush 2–3 times until the water has no sour taste before drinking, and keep electrical parts dry.

Before & after
Before and after (illustration)
Before: a year-old bottled water cooler with white scale in the hot tank, a crusted spout, and a faint off-taste. After: run and soaked 20 minutes at 1:20 and flushed three times, the scale is loose, the spout clean, and the water fresh.
- Before: hot-tank scale, crusted spout
- 20 minutes at 1:20, flushed 3 times
- Scale gone, fresh-tasting water

How it works
How the scale dissolves
Dispenser scale is mostly calcium carbonate and magnesium hydroxide. Citric acid's hydrogen ions react with the carbonate to release carbon dioxide and form soluble calcium and magnesium citrate, while citrate chelates the metal ions so they don't redeposit; low-foam surfactants wet and lift the slick film, and clean-water cycles carry it all out.
- Dilute 1:20
- Pour into reservoir
- Run or soak 15–20 minutes
- Acid dissolves and chelates scale
- Flush 2–3 times

Where Water Dispenser & Purifier Cleaner stands out
Why dispensers need descaling

This cleaner turns scale into soluble citrates with food-grade citric acid, lifts the film with low-foam surfactants, and flushes out in a few clean-water cycles.
Keep filters out of it

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Find practical answers about Water Dispenser & Purifier Cleaner, private label, samples, MOQ, documents, and delivery.
Product, use, and procurement
How often should I clean a water dispenser?
Every two to three months, or right away in hard-water areas or if the water tastes off.
Will the water taste sour afterward?
Not if you fill and drain with clean water at least three times. Taste a cup before you go back to normal use.
How fast can we get samples and a first order?
Free samples ship in 3–5 days. MOQ is 500 bottles, and production is scheduled once packaging and labels are approved.
Product usage questions
How do I use it?
Unplug and drain, fill the tank with a 1:20 mix, wait 20–30 minutes, drain it all through the taps, then fill and drain with clean water at least three times.
When shouldn't I use it?
Never heat the cleaning solution; replace purifier filters per the manual instead of soaking them.
How often should I descale?
About every 3 months, or every 1–2 months with hard water or heavy hot-water use.
Can I use it on stainless hot tanks?
Yes. Soak at 1:20 and flush thoroughly; don't use it on aluminum tanks.
Can I clean the water bottles too?
Reusable bottles, yes: soak and scrub at 1:20, then rinse.
What if the water tastes sour afterward?
It isn't fully flushed yet; run 1–2 more clean-water cycles.
Can I clean the purifier spout?
Yes. Wipe or soak spouts in diluted solution and rinse.
Does it work on wall-mounted dispensers?
Yes. Use the cleaning mode per the manual or soak the reservoir.
Should I change filters after cleaning?
Cleaning doesn't affect filters; replace them on the maker's schedule.
Can offices use it?
Yes. Scale the dose up for large office coolers.
Do I really need to clean my water dispenser?
Yes. Hard water leaves mineral scale in the hot tank, reservoir, and spout lines, and plain water won't dissolve it. This cleaner uses a food-grade organic acid that breaks scale down so it rinses out. Run a 1:20 mix through every two to three months, then flush with clean water at least three times.
Will this sanitize or disinfect my water dispenser?
No. It's a descaling cleaner, not a disinfectant or sanitizer, and it makes no germ-kill claims. Use it to remove scale and buildup, then flush with clean water at least three times. If you need to sanitize, follow your dispenser manufacturer's instructions and use a product registered for that purpose.
